Achieve Mystery On Valentine's Day (The Violet Carlyle Mysteries, #30.5) Picturized By Beth Byers Provided As EPub
story to introduce readers of one author to the character of the other, A tease
This was a fun little snack and an intro to their next books, I like that it introduced both authors characters if you were unfamiliar with them, This is a super simple short story, I figured out who the jewel thief was immediately, It's so obvious that I'm sure Ginger should have figured it out, Of course one can't jump to conclusions but, it was obvious. Having Violet help question suspects didn't really add anything to the story, One doesn't even need to know Violet and Jack or Ginger and Basil to read this story but it helps to know Ginger and Basil and why she's such a good investigator.
This one takes place between sitelinkMurder on Eaton Square and sitelinkMurder on Fleet Street, I think,
An enjoyable froth of a short story
Bringing together Ginger Gold and Violet Carlyle in a mad dash through Valentine's dinners with their respective inspector husband's and a jewelry heist.
Great Valentine's Day mystery!
The perfect read for Valentine's Day with two of my favorite lady sleuths, Love Ginger Gold and Violet Carlyle!!!! They are so much fun, Love both the series with these ladies, A Wonderful, But Short Mystery
A very intriguing closed door type mystery, Valentine's Day dinner turns out to be more than just a romantic night out, With Ginger and Violet, along with their spouses present the mysteries will be solved, This story was great fun, Not worth the effort. Oh dear I might have stumbled onto a new series to devour, if this glimpse at Ginger Gold is a good indicator, Truthfully, I had hoped for a more in depth book, It was quite simple, a quick and easy read, but had as much description of what characters were wearing as there was plot, As I read the Ginger Gold series despite the fashion elements, that left me with not much of a mystery to enjoy,
I know that's just a personal preference, but this book left me wanting nonetheless, Delightful Valentines Day Caper
I enjoyed reading this Valentiness Day short story with a jewelry heist in a famed London restaurant frequented by society in thes.
It was fun having two female sleuths instead of the usual one, Ive always loved the Ginger Gold Mysteries by Lee Strauss, Ive now discovered a new interesting character, Violet Carlyle and the Violet Carlyle Mysteries by Beth Byers, My review for Mystery on Valentines Day
I loved it! A wonderful and sweet story, I loved the new characters! This is a must read series! I cant wait for the next book! Very light and disappointing, A third of the ebook is taken up with lists of books the two authors have written, Would have to call it a short short promo piece with little substance, Three is generous. A cute little read
I have read all of the Ginger Gold mysteries and loved them, This was a nice introduction to Voilet Walefield, Of course there is a mystery involved, I would recommend this book to anyone, Meh
I never really find these short stories satisfying, Knowing both characters in advance helps, but there just isnt enough of a mystery, The authors, generally, did a good job blending the characters together in their contact with one another, but I had a real feeling that each chapter was written by someone different.
It just didnt flow. Wonderful little mystery
I really enjoyed reading this short story, I thought it was well done, Im well aquatinted with Ginger Reed and love all her books, It was fun meeting Violet and I look forward to exploring her books more, Mystery on Valentines Day by Beth Byers and Lee Strauss
It's Valentine Day and Violet and Jack Wakefield are sitting in the River Restaurant at the Savoy Hotel where they have elected to celebrate the night.
As they wait to order their dinner, Chief InspectorBasil Reed and his new wife, Ginger Gold Reed arrive to do their own celebrating, The women have never been formally met but they do recognize each other, The men have worked together on past criminal investigations,
When the jewelry of the restaurant's patrons starts to go missing, the men secure the scene but it is the women who figure out what is going on.
. This is a delightful partnership of Ms, Byers and Mr. Strauss to bring together their famous lady sleuths, Ginger Gold and Violet Wakefield, It is to cherished as much for this historical meeting as for the clever mystery it presents, I loved it! I received the book for free in a promotion but the review is honestly all mine, Enjoy! Dinner out means fun and excitement
A great little read but be warned it is onlyof the page count.
