was a fun and breezy marriage of convenience/second chance novella, The history between the two character was welldone, The main guys whole parental situation was a little like whaaa but otherwise I enjoyed this book, I wonder if Grant has a book, .
okay wait this was really good, I don't always love second chance romances, but i did love this one, and this one had fake marriage too, and the FMC was an artist,
so anyways, I loved the characters, Macks was a little weird sometimes like that cursing I mean you do you but okay, I really don't read enough books where the main character is an artist, so I forget how much I love those characters.
I love how different they see things and how sometimes the world is described in colors and shapes rather than in words and I just relate to that.
I'm not sure I would consider myself an artist but I do like to paint, so just reading about Macks painting and the studio she worked from just sounded like a literal dream.
okay okay, enough about the art and Macks, now Walker: I didn't love him, but I also didn't not like him.
he was your regular billionare CEO, inherited the company from his dad, dad put clause in will that he couldn't get his part of company with getting married you know the guy.
but while his character wasn't really new, him and Macks together were, and I did like that,
even if it was just their stubbornness getting in the way of them being together a few times miscommunication for the win as always insert sigh here, they did get a happy ending.
and a welldeserved
one in my opinion,
overall, I think eva ashwood has written yet another great book again, it's not a reverse harem or as dark as some of her other ones, but I loved it just as much.
it is just a little slow in the beginning, but once it got going, I was hooked. FREE on Amazon today! The last will and testament of his father has him pondering the future,
He needs a wife and fast to fulfil his destiny,
With an eviction notice hanging over her head it's time to accept thats she's living on borrowed time.
A chance encounter throws up new possibilities, . . all that is required is one question and one answer, . .
This book gave me all the warm and fuzzies from the start till the end,
My heart melted as they danced along a line that was vanishing fast, and all I could hear in my mind was love songs.
The love and passion jumps off the pages and this is the kind of love and romance we all yearn for in our own lives.
Sure there's hiccups along the way, but that's what makes this more real, more believable,
This is simply a read that will restore your faith in love and remind you that there is always hope.
I for one swooned like a school girl and now I'm left hoping Eva Ashwood writes more books like this!
A Billionaire Fake Marriage Romance
One shocking proposal.
One fake marriage.
One more chance at love,
Walker Prince was the love of my life, but our story ended without a happily ever after.
Or at least, thats what I thought,
But now Im staring into his gorgeous blue eyeseyes I never thought Id see againas he says four little words:
“Will you marry me”
What This is crazy.
A recipe for disaster,
Marry him
Live with him
Play the role of his wife so he can claim his inheritance
No way.
I shouldnt do this.
Walker and I have always had combustible chemistry,
and theres every chance this will explode in my face.
That Ill get burned again,
But as a struggling artist in New York City,
sometimes a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.
Whats the worst that can happen if I just
Say yes
Warning: this book contains a sexy alpha male, a creatively foulmouthed heroine, an adorable lug of dog, and a hard won happily ever after.
This is a standalone novel with no cliffhanger, Yesssss
Love a fake marriage turn real love story! This did not disappoint at all! The sex was fire as was the chemistry! I'm a bit softy for romance books with a twist that end if a HEA.
This is my first book by Eva but definitely won't be my last, The alpha type male in the story had me swooning and cussing at the same time, A beautiful written story can make you cry, laugh and smile, . . And say yes had all that, I loved the dynamic of the main characters and who wouldn't love a perfect love, even if it's has it trials and issues.
Love love love Say Yes by Eva Ashwood

“This kiss was like coming home, Except the home had learned a few new tricks in the last seven years, Walker had always been able to light me on fire with a single touch, but everything about him was stronger, more powerful, more dominating now.
”
When foulmouthed Mackenzie crashes into Walker's office, it sparks a resurgence of emotions that both of them had suppressed.
Both are in need of the other's assistance, Walker proposes a mutually exclusive offer that will benefit them both, All Mackenzie has to do is marry him so he can claim his inheritance,
Ive read many books by Eva Ashwood, and this is one of my all time favorites! I love that its a super fast read with a HEA, and a little bit of drama.
The chemistry seemed to jump off the page, and the angst made the whole thing feel more relatable, Plus the adorable dog made everything ten times better! Second Chance Romance With Heart
One of my favourite things about this author is her way of writing how feelings in a relationship grow.
Its very natural and unhurried, Its the same in her dark romance series The Kings of Chaos, She has a knack for writing a male POV that you can fall head over heels for,
When Macks and Walker bump into each other again years after their teenage relationship ended, they go out for dinner and Macks ends up agreeing to a crazy plan.
Help Walker fully settle his inheritance by marrying him with the strict understanding that theyre just friends,
Its all the familiar tropes but told in a way where you cant help loving the journey through the story.
Its fair share of obstacles is matched by some beautifully romantic moments, You cant help routing for them,
Well worth a read, Cute and sweet
Not necessarily what Ive come to expect for Eva, but it was cute and sweet and sometimes that just what you want.
Say Yes
There really isn't too much to say about this book except for one of my new favourite words which is hmmmmm.
Second and third chance
Was quite a fun read, Their chemistry jumped off the pages, Not without its angst which just made the whole thing more relatable,
Loved the epilogue It was a good story and I really liked the characters, Their story was full of bumps but they made through each one of them stronger in the end Onnodig verhaal dit.
. blijkbaar was het kort, maar voelde best lang, Hij maakt gewoonx dezelfde fout door een workaholic te zijn, . . En ze vergeeft het hem ook zo snel! Was best annoyed toen ik dit verhaal las, . . Like, wat wil je nou gast!! Amazing! Mackenzie and Walker were high school sweethearts, Theyve been apart for years until they reconnect at a point in life when they need each other, Mackenzie is struggling to make ends meet and Walker needs to marry someone to fully claim his inheritance, They get married and old feelings resurface, Despite their feelings Walker continues to push Mackenzie away and reminds them their marriage is a sham, Mackenzie is heartbroken. Will they move past this and develop a real relationship Will Walker leave Mackenzie high and dry for the second time Can Walker work past his commitment issues I love Evas booksalso a dark romance loverthat said, this was not a fave of mine.I read many books of Eva Ashwood but this one is my favorite out of her books, It's a sweet second and third Chance Romance, I like both main characters and their two best friends, A short read with some drama but it lightened my mood, No romance
Huh! There was sex but no romance, Couldn't understand what Mackenzie saw in the hero, Can't remember his name. Think it was Jerk.
Come to think of it, I'm not sure what Jerk saw in Mac, . . Wet Noodle either. She's definitely not a character I would aspire to be like, The first time they were together, Jerk ended the relationship by ghosting Wet Noodle and then leaving a lame ass message saying he was sorry but it was over.
The second time they were together Jerk uses her to gain his inheritance Wet Noodle happily agrees and then divorces her when he gets it and she just slithers off.
. . like a soggy bit of pasta,
I got toof the book but did DNF, I just didn't care about them or their relationship at that point,
I know my review is harsh but I'm kinda at the end of my tether with these kind of 'romance' books.
Good authors are getting harder than ever to find, Great love story
This was a story of two people who found their way back to each other after several years of separation.
There was a "fake" marriage for inheritance that lasted a few month, It was after the divorce of the fake marriage that both realized what they truly wanted, It was a very sweet story, Eva does it again with this second chance standalone, I have yet to read a book by it's author that I didn't absolutely love, This story is about two people that were in love in high school with each other until tragedy struck and one of them went away.
Mackenzie and Walker's story we'll have you pulled in and rooting for them, Years later they coming to contact with each other again when they both need something from one another, Walker need his inheritance from his late father and Mackenzie needs a place to stay so they come to an agreement.
They think they can do this without falling back in love with each other but we're proven otherwise, I couldn't put this book down I loved every bit about it and also hot steamy scenes amazing also.
I can't wait to see what evil comes up with next she never seems to surprise me though if you have not read anything but it's also you truly are missing out.
I actually thought this book would be a romantic comedy so i was pleasantly surprised that what it is a bittersweet story about two people, Mackenzie FMC and Walker who have loved each other nearly their whole lives but cant seem to get together and stay that way.
Until a fake marriage offer puts them both together to face their feelings for each other, Oh boy these two characters are sweetness personified, I honestly felt for both of them so much, I wanted them to be together so badly, Certain parts definitely brought the girly tears lol but the ending made up for that, Just lovely. Please tell me that Grant might get his own book Id love to read that one A fun read!
While Say Yes is a departure from the reverse harem books we normally see from Eva Ashwood, she definitely stayed true to her roots and nailed this second chance romance between Walker and Mackenzie.
Walker and Macks were high school sweethearts, passionately in love with one another, However, after tragedy strikes Walkers family, he makes the decision to follow his dad, which takes him far away from the girl who has his heart.
Theyre both left heartbroken, but times continues to pass without fail,
Years later, Macks and Walker are reunited and brought together under the pretense of a false marriage so that Walker can gain his inheritance from his late father.
It doesnt take long for these two to fall back into their old ways, but just like before, words are left unsaid and hearts are left to break all over again.
Its such a sweet story between these two who have never once forgotten the other, Walker and Mackenzie have an undeniable bond and I enjoyed seeing them come together again, Wow! Could a first love really reemerge and be forever When foulmouthed, Mackenzie, crashes into Walkers office, it began a resurgence of emotions both had hidden away.
Both of them are in need of the others help and Walker suggests a mutually exclusive offer to benefit them both.
Add in one adorable dog, heaps of sexual tension and attraction and serve up hot!! This one is a definite gooder! Received ARC from Author for Honest .
I Give this Book a/Star Rating,

Surprisingly this was a fast read for me, not that its fast paced, it just flows fairly nicely that I didnt stop reading it.
This was a good book, the book in the beginning was a bit too coincidental for my liking but after that it went on pretty well.
Completely recommend this book! : This story tugged at my heart! This is a great second chance at love story between Mackenzie and Walker.
They were high school sweethearts until Walker moved away and things ended, Mackenzie left broken hearted picked herself up and tried to move on with her life, As a struggling artist she temps to make ends meet, One temp job brings Mackenzie and Walker brings them into each others lives, Walker needs his inheritance and Macks needs a place to stay, These two come together when they need each other the most, These two had me swooning, laughing and rooting for these two, I couldn't put this book down, The pull and tug between these to had me at the edge, It is a must read!,
