Snag A Reluctant Bride For The Baron Edited By Abby Ayles Expressed As Softcover

Loveless Marriage

I think Abby hit it out of the park with Emmeline and Gerard's story, There was no courtship or love at first sight, but it worked, It was a book I didn't want to put down, A rocky road at the start

Emmeline is put into an arranged marriage when her father runs into money problems, Her father approaches Gerald and asks him to marry his daughter and in return he will up his social status, Emmeline and Gerard agree to a loveless marriage, Their feelings change but then a problem occurs that sets them apart, A great love story. A cute story

A father offers his daughter to a man who has made a name for himself, In exchange he would like the man to give him some money and help him with his debts, Top star rating again for Ms Ayles!!!

I love all her books! This one is particularly good, with a cold, unfeeling mother contrasted with a warm, loving one.
A scandal in the making, but not by the leading lady, A warm, generous man capturing a wonderful ice maid in the making as his bride through a surprise arranged marriage, Of course there are those lovely misunderstandings due to a lack of communication, easily rectified once honesty rears its head, The tenderness between lovers that are undeclared is one of Ms Ayles ' trademark inclusions in all her writing it is welcomed in this sweet story, as well.
Oh, yes, there is a slimy unscrupulous knave, as well,
One of her best, Ms Ayles has done it again, No wonder I look forward to seeing new titles with her name! Thank you for an excellent goodread! Emmeline and Gerard must marry, Emmeline's family is on the brink of bankruptcy and ruin, However, Gerard needs their good name in society to further his business and increase his poorer reputation, The marriage will be good business for both parties, but Emmeline wants to marry for love, and certainly not to a man who is beneath her! Gerard thinks she is a spoiled young woman but will do what he must.
They agree to marry. As they get to know each other, they both wonder that their preconceived opinions may not be true, Can true love grow from an arranged marriage of convenience This is a must read! Wonderful characters and storyline! I really enjoy reading books from Abby Ayles because of the way she introduces and developers her characters.
And this book doesn't disappoint,

Lady Emmeline Walfords father has gotten himself into financial trouble and the only way he can think of to get out of his predicament is to marry his beloved daughter to Gerard Turner, Baron Caulton.
And Emmeline, being the good daughter that she is, agrees to the marriage,

Now the fun starts, Or not. Emmeline and Gerard come from entirely different backgrounds, Emmeline has been raised and schooled in the finer points of society, Gerard, on the other hand, has been a Baron for only a year and his family fortunes are also recently acquired, He only agrees to the marriage to increase his visibility in society to improve future marriage choices for his beloved sister Bianca,

Bianca is another character that was very enjoyable to read about, Watching her grow into her own identity is amazing, Bottom line, you need to read this book as well as the previous books that Abby Ayles has written, They are all clean amp sweet but not boring,

I received an ARC of this ebook to read and write a review, In addition, I purchased a digital copy of the published

As it turned out, this reluctant bride had a few lessons to learn as did the Baron and his sister.
I hoped that the lessons learned would be sufficient to warrant a redeemable relationship, Of course, the HEA lets us know that all turned out well, however, it is the getting there that was most satisfying, I shed a few happy tears in this process and was left with a smile on my face in the end, This is a most recommendable book, Emmeline Walfords father tells her she must marry Gerard Turner, Baron of Caulton, He explains he is in a lot of debt and he is broke, She objects. She wants to marry for love and Gerard is beneath her in the social standing, His family was very poor at one time but with hard work and good investments, they are now wealthy and titled, Gerard is being told he must marry Emmeline as her father has many important business associates, This will help the Turner family to continue to expand and make even more money, Also, they will be helping an important family with financial woes to get back on their feet, Gerard also objects as he too wants to marry for love, But they both end up agreeing to do what they must to help their families, Once they start getting to know each other better their opinions change, What does this mean Is it possible they might actually start to like each other Could like turn to love This is a wonderful story with twists and turns that will keep you turning the pages from beginning to end.

I voluntarily received a copy of this book from the author and I'm voluntarily posting a review, My opinion is entirely my own, A True Romance

Two people are put in an arranged marriage that neither was looking for, The steps they must take to win what they desire are interesting and realistic, They say you should marry the person you cannot live without, What happens when you marry a person you cannot live with

Emmeline Walfords world comes crashing down around her when she finds out her father, Baron Ashton, is deep in debt.
But the final blow comes when she learns she has to marry a man she deems beneath her, in order to help her father back to his feet.

Gerard Turner might bear the title of Baron Caulton, but in his heart, he is a modest man, very different from other gentlemen of the ton.
He always wanted to make a love match, but circumstances change and he will find himself marrying a spoiled young lady, just like the ones that he had always been avoiding.

But it is not easy to learn to coexist with someone of such different background and Gerard and Emmeline will try to make the best out of the hand life dealt them.

Will they have the courage to let go of the prejudice instilled in them since birth and take a leap of faith, or will they let their pride ruin the bright future they could have together Great read but all Abbys books are fantastic reads.
Arranded marriage and unsuitable suitor her father choose for her, All because he gambled all away, But all ends well in the end, Her father is a baron who has gone into debt, She is a spoiled brat who now needs to marry someone she feels is not her equal and is beneath her station in life, He is completely different from her and has not wanted to marry someone like her, Exciting, emotional, fun and so much more read, I received a review copy and voluntarily review it, This is a brilliant read,
