some Christmas joy in your life Read this book!
A beautiful holiday romance with heartwarming and heartfelt feels,
Loved the two main characters, Brynn and Nick, Though at times I wanted to shake some sense into them as they went back and forth in their relationship, Can they overcome their past and go forward in their relationship
Everyone deserves a second chance, with the magic of a Christmas miracle,
Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and author, Michelle Major, for the opportunity to read this wonderful book, All opinions expressed are my own,
This is a romance, and this is the third book in the Welcome to Starlight series, This is a short and quick read, I love this story so much, I love both the main characters, and they where very developed, The main characters went to high school together, but so much as happen since high school, Now, both of them still loves each other, but they cannot tell each other that they love each other, I got pulled into this story so fast, and I love the little twist that would not that big, This is a cute story, but it has enough drama to keep you wanting to read, I love that the main female character was a stronger hard headed character that stands up for herself, I do not feel that this is super about Christmas, but there is a little about Christmas in the story, I was kindly provided an ecopy of this book by the publisher Harlequin Special Edition or author Michelle Major via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review about how I feel about this book, and I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.
This is a second chance at love and friendship romance, Brynn Hale has returned to Starlight a single mother and widowed when her husband is killed after his car went over an embankment, and he was not along at the time, but with another women.
And as she is heading in town, the first person she is encounters is Nick Dunlap, and all those old feelings of love, regret and longing return.
Nick Dunlap has his own regrets and feelings of guilt, but his feelings of love for Brynn never left and she is the only women for him.
He wanted her, but his best friend wanted her too, and so he stepped aside thinking that's who Brynn wanted, He listened to others when he should have listened to his own heart, When circumstances keep putting Nick in Brynns path, he comes to her rescue, even though she fights him at every turn, she wants to be her own savior, she cant help but let him, because he is the answer to so many of her problems.
I liked this holiday story from the start, I loved how protective Brynn was with her son and his feelings toward Nick and how Nick bonded with the little boy right away.
The magic of Christmas is in every page of this book, What more do you need in a book but where a child who is abandoned at Christmas and two people will do anything to make sure this child is safe and loved and give a man and a woman what they really wanted, A family for Christmas It had me reaching for a tissue more than once.
Thank you, Michelle Major, for allowing me to read and review your wonderful holiday story, Brynn didn't have the best marriage buts she did what she can after being widowed and finding out that her husband died with his mistress it seems he had more then just one when everyone keeps revealing themselves in different ways.
Nick and Brynn has a pas that they can't get over and he's trying to redeem himself and do what he can to help Brynn this holiday season.
Okay so I know its not the holiday season but I'm noticing there was a couple books that I didn't notice that was on my holiday tbr list that I haven't read yet including this book.
Usually I hope for holiday books to scream christmas and get me into the holiday mood but while this book was set during christmas it could be read at any point there was a couple things here and there that were holiday but this was a pretty good contemporary romance.
This book was about healing and getting past old hurt, I mean it was clear that Brynn was having a hard time dealing with her husbands infidelity but she did what she could to look past it and do something more when things keep coming at her about her husband loose ways.
There was Nick who was really trying to do everything he can to help Brynn which was kinda sweet, Then theres the romance, the being around eachother more during the holiday season working together it was the recipe for a bit of romance.
Overall this was a pretty good book I really enjoyed it,
His Last Chance Christmas Family
Welcome to Starlight
Michelle Major
Michelle Majors latest in her Welcome to Starlight series could have been titled Clueless in Starlight, a heartwarming story about two once best friends who really need each other now, friends who have let lifes difficulties get between them.
Nick is the clueless one and readers will once or twice or three times want to literally knock some sense into him.
Brynn on the other hand has such a big heart that shes willing to love her dead husbands baby with another woman but is so pragmatic that she cant see Nicks love through the disappointments life has given her.
But Michelle pulls these two deserving people together beautifully and will make readers laugh and cry along the way, Its fun to have a catch up with previous series characters and enjoy all the trappings of the holiday season, Of course its the two kids who steal the show Tyler with his precocious and precious antics and baby Remi because, well baby.
Well done!
Brynn Hale has been holding on by a thread since her husband died along with his mistress in a tragic car accident but she has to hold it together for heryear old son.
Then as if karma hasnt been hard enough on her another of her husbands mistresses abandons their baby and leaves her with Brynn.
Like it or not shell have to rely on her once BFF, Starlights hunky Police Chief, the man who once upon a time broke her heart.
Nick Dunlap has always loved Brynn he just didnt know until now it was love, trouble is hes not good enough for her, but even so she needs his help more now than ever when her cheating husbands progeny is left on her doorstep so he better just man up and do all he can.
And make sure he keeps his hands to himself, This is a romance, and this is the third book in the Welcome to Starlight series, This is a short and quick read, I love this story so much, I love both the main characters, and they where very developed, The main characters went to high school together, but so much as happen since high school, Now, both of them still loves each other, but they cannot tell each other that they love each other, I got pulled into this story so fast, and I love the little twist that would not that big, This is a cute story, but it has enough drama to keep you wanting to read, I love that the main female character was a stronger hard headed character that stands up for herself, I do not feel that this is super about Christmas, but there is a little about Christmas in the story, I was kindly provided an ecopy of this book by the publisher Harlequin Special Edition or author Michelle Major via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review about how I feel about this book, and I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.
I really enjoyed reading this book, Once I started it was hard to put down,
Brynn and Nick were friends in High School and then she married his best friend Daniel and had a baby.
Now ten years later, she is back in Starlight and needing Nick's friendship now more than she ever did before,
She has been through a tough year and so has her son Tyler, with the death of Daniel and the other things that are being uncovered now that he is gone.
Check out the book I think you will enjoy it, A perfect Starlight Christmas

She is trying to find the new normal while working and raising heryear old son on her own, Right before Christmas, her longtime friend Nick shows up with yet another of her husband's mistresses, She has a baby in tow, says she is in a bad place and Brynn offer's to let them stay the night.
What will end up happening with the baby And Nick
Their secondchance at love was just too adorable, I loved the way Brynn and Nick both pined for each other, but Brynn just would not give in! I was rooting for Nick from the beginning and I am so glad I got the HEA I was after!
This is the third installment in the Welcome to Starlight Series.
You do not have to read the previous books to know what its going on, The love stories from the previous books were mentioned, and it made me want to read them! I think I will be going back to start this series from book.
This is a perfect book for you if you love second chance at love stories, a little family drama, and HEAs! So I stayed up later than I should have last night but it was totally worth it to finish this fabulous book by Michelle Major HIS LAST CHANCE CHRISTMAS FAMILY Tells the story of Police Chief Nick Dunlap and single mom with plenty of baggage Brynn Hale.
The third book in Michelles WELCOME TO STARLIGHT series this one is filled with angst, regret and all the cosy small town Christmas fun.
Poor Brynn can hardly catch a break from the scandal of her husbands cheating double life to unresolved feelings for best friend Nick.
Nick too has his issues and is a
proud member of the no strings attached relationship club, Thrown together by an unexpected turn of events, these two have quite the journey to travel to their happily ever after.
I loved this book and loved returning to Starlight and catching up with the tight knit residents and meeting some new friends.
