Achieve The Guest In The Shed (The One With Blue Eyes #1) Imagined By Seryna Asola Provided As EPub
was a fun read, Fantastic Characters with a great plot, It's well written and reads fast, I'm only giving itsince it's a short story and that is the highest I give for short stories, If this was a longer novel I would have given itstars, I really enjoyed it. There is no graphic sexual content and barely any violence, I would recommend it or all ages, I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily, Easy reading that lets my mind play the story like a movie behind my eyes, Grabs you at the first sentence and doesnt stop until the last word,
Definitely a new author to follow, I enjoy reading books from a different cultural view, Spirits of the dead lurk on the streets, leeching off those still alive,
Yumiko can see them, but she has spent her life struggling to ignore them, Eye contact with the ghosts is unwise,
But when a friend's shed is being haunted by a violent spirit, Yumiko decides it's time to set her fears aside and help him.
As the dark aura of the ghost grows larger and the noise inside the shed escalates, Yumiko realizes the spirit is more powerful than she first imagined.
Before the ghost gets out of control, Yumiko contacts a paranormal investigator, But the spirit refuses to cross over and something is keeping it tied inside the shed,
Will they be able to solve the mystery before it's too late Part of abook series
I enjoyed this book, even though it was a short story and partof abook series, which really wasbook.
The characters were were good as was the storyline, This is a brilliant read,
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start,
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable,
Great suspense and action with wonderful world building,
Can't wait to read what the author brings out next,
Recommend reading.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book this is my voluntary and honest review,
WARNING SPOILERSALERT
What a great read, This book was so good I couldn't put it down, I love how yumiko character is Suttle about coming out about her ability after her friend Kaoru cousin Eiji'S shed is haunted.
The shed has been haunted by a women who was just recently murder by the serial killer who is on the lose.
I won't give to much more detail about the book but this was such a fun read, It was a quick read to but honestly it was packed pretty good and kept the flow going nicely a lot of times stories get dragged out with to much detail or overly dramatic scenes.
This was done very tastefully,
I can't wait to read the second book which I am onto next,
I want to thank StoryOrigin OverDrive TheOneWithBlueEyes SerynaAsola for the opportunity to have had a free copy of this book to review and read.
I extremely enjoyed the book,
So I highly recommend you grab a copy and read it, It so worth it!! I received this book free in exchange for my honest review
My first read from this author and I didn't know what to expect.
I have to say, it's been a long time since I have been completely captured by a book, Though it ending in a cliffchanger, I was bouncing with happiness, I've found my reading joy again, and I can't wait to read the other books in this series, and more from this author.
This is a short read but it was written splendidly, In such a short while I connect with the MC, the side characters and the mysterious Hinata, I feel like he's going to me a major player in the books to come, and though there is no romance in this book, I feel a shipping coming on.
I don't want to spoil anything, but I will tell you that this book read like a full length novel.
The story flowed, the plot was set, there was no needless filler, and even the small backstory we get on the MC was just enough for you to feel a connection.
It felt like reading the first chapter of a paranormal Manga series, and one that's going to get better and better with each book!
Overall this
book is a solidand it gets my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval.
Happy Reading
E, A. Walsh “The Guest in the Shed” is the first episode in “The One with Blue Eyes” series by Seryna Asola, This is a thee part episodic series, Each of the episodes is a blend of ghost story and mystery with an underlying Japanese lore influence, and follows Yumiko, a girl who can see ghost, in her quest to control the ghost with the help of a paranormal investigator.
“The Guest in the Shed” is a rather short story, barely overpages long, that follows Yumiko while trying to save a friend from a particularly violent spirit.
The story is well written, easytoread, an interesting fast read for all those interesting in ghost stories and/or Japanese folklore.
