Get Your Hands On Saints Passage (Elemental Covenant, #1) Created By Elizabeth Hunter Published As EPub

EVERYTHING YOU ARE DOING, BUY THIS BOOK, GET COZY AND GET READING,
As is typical when I pick up a book by Elizabeth Hunter, all my plans get shot straight to hell because I forget the world exists and I don't move until I have finished the book.

It has been some time since we have been able to spend time with our roguishly charming Carwyn and his sassy mate Brigid.

Being back in the Elemental work was like having that cozy blanket to wrap yourself in, with the perfect pairing of wine and yummies it just makes everything all better.
Even with the drama, the adventure, and the emotions in this story, you still just KNEW that thesecharacters would not just triumph, but also how we all need that hero.

Hunter's passion for intertwining facts, storylines and the paranormal are superior it keeps you involved, it makes you care, has you rooting, laughing, holding your breath and then saying WHAT DO YOU MEAN I FINISHED IT!!!!

Carwyn and Brigit are back! Carwyn, theyear old vampire and his vampire wife Brigit are living life in Dublin.
Brigit is head of security for the top vampire there, She's small but smart and deadly, Carwyn is a very large jokester that loves Brigit with his whole being,
They end up in LA with their friends Giovanni and Beatrice, When they're hired to find a missing teenage girl, the adventure begins, As they enter a compound in the desert, a bigger problem becomes apparent,
Do they do their job and find the girl or do they stop a crime that will ruin the lives of many innocents
This book is so fantastic I couldn't put it down.
If you aren't familiar with this couple, this is a great introduction, If you are familiar with them, hurry up and get this book! You'll be so happy you did.
I completely enjoyed hanging out with these old friends again,
I was given an advance copy of this book so I could give my honest review.
As always, I have also preordered a copy, Don't hate me. This was a difficult review for me to write, As much as I love Brigid and Carwyn Building From Ashes is one of my favourite Elemental universe books, and their first kiss was the best one ever, I couldn't get into Saints Passage in the same way.
Not because it's a bad book though, It is not a bad book, The problem is all mine, If I'm reading a fantasy novel then I want it to be all about the fantasy world with fantasy world problems.
Saints Passage was too much in the real world with real world politics, and to be honest the reason I read is to get away from all that.

But then Brigid and Carwyn, bless their cotton socks, got their vampire game on and by the end all was forgiven with a few well aimed fireballs.
Reading Saint's Passage felt like coming home to a loving family remember Gio swoon and Gavin swoon I 'dig' vampire stories with hot guys and kicka women and Ms.
Hunter writes the absolute best ones, I've been reading all of her 'elemental' books several times over, Now I can add another book to my reread list, Carwyn and Brigid were one of my favorite couples, Their interactions always made me laugh, This new book is the beginning of their new adventures afteryears of love and a somewhat mundane life.

However, there is much, much more to this first adventure, Ms. Hunter tackles a horrible problem that has been around for centuries but never got much attention until our last administration finally started to do something about it.
I don't want to go into any details and spoil it for anyone, I believe EH will be opening a lot of eyes and make a lot of people cry out about the unfairness that exists in today's world.
It is heartwrenching to just read about it,

I'm sorry if I sound a little doom and gloom, Trust me, you do want to read this book because there is also a lot of action.
You'll be getting a suspenseful mystery with plenty of twists and turns, Don't miss out on it!

I was lucky enough to get my hands on an advance copy and voluntarily read and reviewed the book.
I am blown away by the continuous work of Elizabeth Hunter, She has provided us with a wild and crazy ride of a story by way of Carwyn and Brigid.
You can just imagine these two standing side by side, one is fiery and the other very tall with Hawaiian shirts.
And tell me that just doesn't bring a smile to your face,

On this particular ride in the Elemental world, we are with Carwyn and Brigid who have become known for finding lost or missing souls.
There is definitely some fiery action, as you could imagine, and some heart warming words from a big softie.
A twist I don't think you'd see coming, and a community you may not have known existed.
Whilst looking for someone, they become involved in a rescue mission, can it be done without them revealing what they really are

I was immersed in this book from start to finish, and was still thinking about it when it was long over.
I hated to come to the end, As usual, the characters and the world were exceptionally well written, and the dialogue hilarious as times.
I am very much looking forward to this series of finding people with Carwyn ap Bryn and Brigid.
Another dynamic duo you won't be able to get enough of, Carwyn and Brigid are one of my all time favorite opposites attract couples! The love, humor, and adventure are packed into this mystery just like any of the other amazing books in the Elemental world.
When a young woman goes missing they make the most of their connections, skills, and just their general bad ass selves to move mountains and try to save her.
I didnt want this book to end! I fell in love with Carwyn and his big heart all over again.
I think this series is going to be brilliant and hopefully include many characters that we already know from the Elemental world and many new ones we will love or hate.
Its a solid story dealing with some serious issues that sits right with the characters, I really cant wait to read next book in the series, Well done EH ! I. ADORE. Brigid and Carywn they are one of my all time favourite couples, EVER.

They work so well together, They complement one another and I just find them adorable,

In the elemental world when we first met Carwyn and Brigid ten years have now passed where Brigid is a vampire and Carwyn is her mate.
While in the States, visiting a friend and residing in the dancing bear, yes Gavin, Tenzin amp Chloe.
It is like coming home, meeting old friends and catching up, A phone call comes in that a teenager is missing and Brigid's and Carwyn's skills can help.

Carywn feels that Brigid needs to spice things up, She has done everything she can for Murphy in Dublin and the mundane is coming in.
Carwyn suggests the idea to quit and build something new, something different, However first they are off to California to find the missing girl,

When it comes to Ms, Hunter I can only praise her which makes me biased every single time, But her books and her characters are like catnip, The world that has been built in no way bores me and seeing as at times I can have the attention span of a hamster that is a good thing.
EH creates magic in my opinion, characters you can't help but love, Excellent writing, a solid plot and most importantly development,

Read Carwyn and Brigid's book and then read this one I don't want to give too much away therefore I shall leave it at that.

I always feel so honoured to get an ARC,

ARC received in exchange for an honest review ,stars

Im a big fan of Elizabeth Hunters Elemental Mysteries series, and its spinoff, Elemental World.
Well, now the spinoff has a spinoff, as beloved characters, Carwyn and Brigid branch off into the Elemental Covenant series, which will follow the couple as they take on new challenges protecting, defending and searching for the lost.

Their first mission brings them to LA to investigate a teenager who has gone missing.
Lupe Martinez was a good girl with a big heart, and she vanished into thin air while helping the homeless, so her family priest contacts his old colleague, Carwyn, and his wife, Brigid, to help.

God, I love Carwyn! Huge, hilarious, easygoing and deeply caring, he is a huge highlight of this paranormal world, for me, and I was thrilled to be back with him and his feisty wife.
We get to see lots of time with them being together, married, and happy and still passionately hot for each other!, and as they investigate the missing girl, it brings up questions about their own future and what they want to do with it.

Theres action, intrigue and excitement, and I thought the mystery/suspense storyline was really well done.
I was engaged the whole way through as the case of the missing girl turns into something so much bigger than either of them were expecting, and I loved seeing the storyline twist and turn as it built to the exciting climax the paranormal powers on display making it even more fun.

“Justice,” Carwyn whispered, “doesnt always mend with mercy, Sometimes it mends with blood, ”

We get to check in some characters from earlier in the series I particularly liked Brigids girl time, and the glimpses of Gio and Beatrice,

but mostly I just loved being back with Carwyn and Brigid, seeing them so happy together and still so in love, their relationship a great mix of playfulness, passion, respect and deep emotion.

He met her eyes, “You are the greatest gift of my eternity, ”

Swoon!

This is a really solid read, Theres a lot of potential with this series and Im really excited to see where it all goes from here.

This storyline was a little more real world/serious than the rest of the Elemental Universe, but no matter what, I am always in for reading more of Carwyn and Brigid's adventures.
I love seeing their ongoing relationship and love for each other,
