Seize Big Joe (Tales Of The Wild West) Authored By Wyatt Shepard Distributed As Interactive EBook

Joe could be a nice "Western Classic" as advertised, I'm a longtime fan of Louis L'Amour and Zane Grey and companythey are one reason I moved Out West when I could flee the Midwest.
There's just a couple things, though, this author didn't get quite right,
. Where the tarnation is "Narrow Bluff" and "Widestone" The Amazon summary says Colorado, and implies they are in the South Platte valley.
Yet the book doesn't appear to say that, and when the hero is asked where he hails from after a multiday trail ride he says "Colorado" and the boy says something to the effect "Yeah, we traveled through there when we moved here.
" OK, I understand authors make up places to protect the innocent, but when Louis L'Amour said a creek was at a certain place, you know darn well that creek was at that place.

. In the US, Towns don't have Sheriffs, Counties or Parish have Sheriffs, That said, some Towns in the Old West may have used the term Sheriff before they became organized Territory, but if this is indeed the Platte Valley of Colorado that was well before the Civil War Montana or Wyoming maybe so.
Towns in the Old West may have a Town Marshall, and of course the County Sheriff resides in the County Seat, but in that case the Sheriff is elected not appointed by the Mayor.

. Good grief with the googoo eyes, Yeah, L'Amours heros often won the girl, but c'mon enough with the saccharine romance,
I confess I tried this book on Kindle Unlimited because the author's name is spelled the same as mine, so I only lost opportunity cost.
And I did try thend book in the series, . . and might check out therd, No relation. Now I'm going to go find my copy of Riders of the Purple Sage, I have not read a western for a longtime and thought to try, It was very predictable knew the conclusion by thestpages, It was a easy read but I had to struggle to get through,
Gotta Love a good Western,

Straight forward, really good good guys, really bad bad guys!Greed, avarice verses loyalty courage.
Highly recommend this well
Seize Big Joe (Tales Of The Wild West) Authored By Wyatt Shepard Distributed As Interactive EBook
written tale, I personally can't wait to start the next book written by Wyatt Shepard, Waste of time: in the end I just jumped pages in order to get to the end.
It was so incredibly improbable, very religious, full of converted hoodlums, heroes, good food, mix between one and multiple shot rifles etc.
that I stopped reading it, Great book

I have loved westerns my entire life and glad to see new authors with the gift of telling a great western story.
Good job Mr Shepard Couldve sworn I found this looking through horror westerns but its not just a well written western I enjoyed it a lot not being able to put it down When Big Joe gets an urgent message from his sister, he immediately goes to help.
Unfortunately it tookmonths for the letter to get to him and by the time he got to her town, it had been burned to the ground.
His sister and her husband died in the fire, Big Joe heads to the next town to find some clues and finds out that the gang that burned down his sister's town, are planning the same for this one.
Time to take a stand and that means getting the towns people to realize they need to get rid of the gang or the gang will destroy the town.
Plenty of western action! Good vs evil in the early West

I really enjoyed this well written book about life in the early West.
The evil was ever present daily danger, .
