Why are there so many Children's series that get going really good and then just leave off as if it were a TV show that got cancelled And why are the majority of these in the Christian Market A good finish to the series I only wish I knew what happened to them in the future.
An epilogue maybe While good, this series could use more entries like Frank Peretti's Veritas Project books, of which there are only two, Bill Myers could do a lot more with these characters and situations.
Maybe, someday, we'll get another volume one can only hope, In book four, Chamber of Lies, Zach, Piper, and Elijah are reunited with their parents, But when Elijah is lured into the Chamber, he must face the Shadow Man in a battle for his soul, Only heaven can help him now, The fourth book ends on a cliffhanger with the parents trapped in a hospital and Willard safe with a hermit who is probably an angel.
Elijah helped Zach, Piper, and Cody all see that Shadow Man is a liar and that to follow him and his master who we are assuming is Satan is not a wise decision.
