am a fan of postapocalyptic stories because I like to see how the author visualizes such a world, You see some of that in this with the description of the territories and the condition of the university, I wish there has been more so a better contrast comparison of the post war society, I liked the history and the warrior/scholar relationship but again, I would have loved to know more, Braz was a little confusing for me with his hot/cold but the timeline was really tight, not allowing for more development, Unfortunately you only get a brief glimpse of the alien, Ridley had to keep his eyes closed the whole time, darnit!

This was an enjoyable read I was just wanting more, I think it would have been awesome in a longer format,
