FIGHT IS ON IN MARRIAGE

I enjoyed this historical story with strong characters, strong wills, and determination to each have their way, Hannah Cooper is done taking physical abuse from her father and then to find out he has arranged a marriage for her, she runs away to the Colonies where she works as a seamstress.
Colonel Wolfgang Preston of the British Army is in Boston to locate his runaway bride, Hannah and Wolf are like water and oil, and she fights him all the way, refusing to accept their marriage by proxy, He is very domineering and is use to having control of men with everyone obeying him that he expects the same from his feisty wife,

The plot kept me captivated and the pages turning as these two have a battle of wills, There are several punishing spankings before they board a ship back to England, and their marriage takes several new twists and turns, Both will learn surprising things about each other, and the battles will continue to rage on across the sea and back to land, Things for them could have gone so much smoother if they had only been open and honest in conversation with each other, but that is not how either of them handled things.
I am SO FUCKING PISSED at this book, WTF WAS THIS! It's utter horse shit! Someone, spare me, EVERY COPY OF THIS BOOK NEEDS TO BE BURNED IMMEDIATELY SO THAT WE CAN SPARE THE EYES OF FUTURE READERS, DNF When Hannah Cooper flees England to escape an arranged marriage, her new existence as al "widow" leaves her content, But when war hits the colonies her home is among those forced to house British troops, When she and new guest Wolfgang Preston realize his is the man she is to marry, she resists him, Can he tame this Colonial spitfire enough to make her a good wife And here is another one, marriage by proxy, she does not want to be married but she comes around in the end.
. lots of spankings and sexy times with lots of orgasm, . . happy times:
UPDATE
Still good as a re read,Faulker never disappoints. The history might be a little iffy, but that doesn't distract from the simple reliability of this book and Carolyn Faulkner's work in general, The characters are likable, the plot charming, and the ending doesn't disappoint, A nice little tidbit to read, I'm conflicted. I love an overbearing dominant alpha male, This book delivered there. I don't mind a damsel in distress as long as she is not some hopeless twit, Again the book delivered. I realise that this story is set in a time where women are little more than property, But I like my non con clearly tagged for what it is, I like my heroes to be better than that, I was hoping as I read this that Wolf would realise that women were more capable then he perceived and perhaps he was wrong, Nope, the heroine had the turn around and realised she needed him, WTAF!!!!

And the ending . . I feel like this book just ended, Nothing was wrapped up, it felt like the author couldn't be bothered to finish, So, aside from my righteous indignation and a complete lack of conclusion, I did enjoy the book, I just had different expectations, Surrender

What a fabulous short startup was fast pace and full of sexual tension, The Revolutionary time period is great for a setting about one stubborn woman and one powerful manmade both surrender to love, Carolyn was one of you as a kid, with the intriguing seeds planted in her head of the shivering thrill thoughts that came with words like spanking, or discipline.
As with you, those kinds of words and thoughts connected the heated blush of her cheeks with feelings elsewhere, which got and interesting the older she got, I bet you know just what Im talking about, Like some, she started writing down these thoughts, escaping into short stories of reluctant heroes willing to take someone they love in hand when its for her own good and shadowy thoughts as her imagination matured.
And like some, she started sharing her writings in newsgroups once she gained some confidence, Theres nothing like the perfectly turned phrase, the hand Carolyn was one of you as a kid, with the intriguing seeds planted in her head of the shivering thrill thoughts that came with words like spanking, or discipline.

And like some, she started sharing her writings in newsgroups once she gained some confidence, There's nothing like the perfectly turned phrase, the handful of words that can make a feeling wash over you, And if you're reading this, then you have within you some intense feelings that most of the world doesn't understand but Carolyn does, and she writes those passions with wondrous abandon.
Her specialties are Spanking Romance and Adult Ageplay, so we've grouped the many examples of her work that way, Spanking Romance Classics are sweeping love stories which dare in a very un PC way to allow their heroine to feel the special love of a strong man who will take her in hand when it's best for her.
Carolyn writes very real, rich characters and stories that aren't just excuses to jump from spanking scene to spanking scene, If the timeless tango of pursuing ardor touches you, and the head rush of Adoring Discipline intrigues you, then you'll love Carolyn's stories! sitelink,
