Download Your Copy Ancients (Event Group Thriller #3) Scripted By David L. Golemon Formatted As EPub
If you enjoy action/adventure novels that have elements of science fiction, you are likely already reading this series, These novels are all about escapism and entertaining us, Of the three novels, however, this is the weakest, There seems to have been less care taken to follow history and any basis in science this time, The real star is the many armed conflicts with the bad guys, While Ancients does seem much more formulaic than the first two novels in the series, there is a surprise ending this time.
Character development, such as it is, relies on the reader having read the first Event Group novel, Event, since the main characters are developed to a much lesser degree in Legend.
In Ancients it is just assumed you know the recurring main characters, It's not a good assumption to make, Additionally, the Atlanteans also lack development and believability as villains, If they already had the influence behind the scenes as written, they could have taken over without their secret weapon,
Setting aside the problems with this third Events Group novel, I would say that Ancients definitely passes the test as an entertaining novel.
It would be a good airplane book,
Recommended especially if you are following the series not as a stand alone novel sitelink blogspot. com/
No no no no no nooooooooooooooooo
It just can't be, god feeling all the feels after that ending Wow.
How this author is so widely published is beyond me, The ONLY reason this book getsis because I was able to finish it, There were so many errors in this book that it was nearly unreadable, Things like "site" being used when "sight" was meant, Words were left completely absent from sentences, And the dialog felt so cliche and choppy and uneven, that I actually began to wonder if the author was even familiar with English.
Felt more like it may have been his second language rather than his native tongue, The story dragged on atrociously, with the author telling us far too much detail for things like armaments while failing completely to show us the emotions of characters that one would assume we are supposed to love or hate over the course ofpages.
The science and tech always felt amateur, as though there was an idea, but no research done on the practicalities or real background of such tech.
a slightly nerdyth grader trying to impress a bunch ofth graders with tech he knows nothing about,
I won't be wasting my time with another book by this author, Holy Mother of. that cliffhanger!! Unbelievable, here i though Event was the best book of the series so far but Ancients just blew my mind.
Neck deep in military action, a ton of breathtaking scenes and battles, awesome team work between nations and their military forces, our beloved heroes, JACK COLLINSwow.
Did i mention the cliffhanger
You know when you are Reading a book and you get one huge and exciting battle after the other to the point that you need to pause and take a deep breath Like “Somebody please push the dang pause button!" I don't know if this happens to anyone else, but it does to me with books like this one or Scarecrows Matthew Reilly.
This are the kind of books that make me love with all my heart to be a reader,
Now, the books begin telling a bit of history of the object, race, artifact whatever, in a way that we now know more than our characters so this time yes i already have Leviathan i'm going to skip all that and go straight to where we left of, right after the events of this book and lets see how that goes cause i think knowing what they will face before them takes a bit of the excitement of actually find out with them whos trying to destroy or take the world this time.
Just my opinion tho, so if anyone is Reading this "reviews"stay tuned!
Pure, popcorn, bmovie action as always.
Jack Collins and the rest of Event Group race against the clock to track down an Atlantean superweapon, Implausible as the premise frequently is I do enjoy this series quite a bit, If you're look for a bit of fun I do recommend giving it a shot, Not as good at the previous, but still good,
Reminiscent of the works of James Rollins and Matthew Reilly comes the latest in an actionpacked series about the nations most secret agencythe Event Group
