Take The McKenzie Artifact (Smithson Group SG-5 #1.4) Sketched By Alison Kent Depicted In Digital Copy

love this series. I wish the books were longer, but otherwise Kent just nails the genre, This story had so much potential but fell short for me, There was suspense and twist, I just hated the ending, I know the Smithson GroupSeries are all connecting stories but I wish there was some finishing to some of the stories, I like Stella and Eli, they were fun, Overall the series is okay, I just wish the stories had better endings, Then again life is not wrapped up with a pretty bow,Spectra IT is a very nasty organization that the Smithson Group has been trying to destroy by whatever means necessary, This time SGmembers Eli and Harry are undercover trying to bust up a human trafficking operation and rescue a feisty private investigator named Stella.
This book is intense, but not quite as good as the firstbooks, Suspenseful

This is the fifth book in the series, I enjoy the strong characters with their strong personalities, The story is good. It's an enjoyable book. Still adventurous

This series never gets boring, Each book brings more excitement, romance and mystery to the ongoing full story of SG, Five months ago, SGoperative Eli McKenzie was in deep cover in Mexico, infiltrating a Spectra ring that kidnaps young girls and sells them into a life beyond imagining.
Not being able to move on the Spectra scum right away was torture for the toughbutcompassionate superspy, But that wasn't the only problemsomeone on the inside was slowly poisoning Eli, clouding his judgment and forcing him to make an abrupt trip back to the Smithson Group's headquarters to heal.

Now, Eli's ready to return, . . with a vengeance. It seems his quick departure left a private investigator named Stella Banks in some hot water, Spectra operatives have nabbed the nosy Stella and are awaiting word on how to handle her disposal, Eli knows the only way to save her life and his is to reveal himself to Stella and get her to trust him.
Seeing the way Stella takes care of the frightened girls melts Eli's armor, and soon, they find that the best way to survive this brutal

assignment is to steal time in each other's arms.
It's a bliss Eli's intent on keeping, no matter what he has to do to protect it, Because Eli McKenzie has unfinished business with Spectraand with the woman who has renewed his heartand this is one man who always finishes what he starts.

Completely unrealistic sex unless the H has two cks!

The h was captured by said organization when she decided that she could single handedly free the twelve captured women,

Final Notes I typically like AK stories but this one was completely unrealistic, If the baddies were going to rape her and held off for the H, they would definitely have done so once they captured her a second time.
During one extended sex scene, he used two appendages at the same time, . . Huh The torture scene went on way too long, I kept finding myself skipping forward fromminutes at a time,

HEA or HFN Unknown I often read of or hear about authors who knew they were meant to tell stories from the time they left the crib.
Me I didnt decide what I wanted to be when I grew up until I was thirty years old and then sold my first book at thirty four.
Still, it was obvious that I always knew I was going places, Like so many other authors, I was a voracious reader from day one, devouring everything from Nancy Drew to My Friend Flicka, which I remember sitting hovered over the heater vent in the kitchen floor to read while my father made his coffee.
I moved on to my mothers Phyllis Whitney, Dorothy Eden, and Mary Stewart gothics before discovering my first true romances written by Lucy Walker and set in the Australian Outback.
And then, at last, when I I often read of or hear about authors who knew they were meant to tell stories from the time they left the crib.

And then, at last, when I wasI found 'The Flame and the Flower', My son almost spent his life as Brandon because of that, but I spared him and named him Casey instead! Why write romance Because love stories have always been a major part of the books I've loved.
Father Ralph and Meggie Cleary, I did name my daughter Megan after reading The Thorn Birds! Do you see a trend here The aforementioned Brandon Birmingham and Heather Simmons.
Wolf Mackenzie and Mary Potter, Even so, it's because I love writing romance heroes, The men who sweep both heroines and readers off their feet not to mention their authors, too!I've spent several years happily writing action adventure romance for Kensington Brava along with hot and sexy series romances for Harlequin Blaze.
Now I'm thrilled to be a launch author for Vows, sitelink.
