"The City Mouse and The Country Mouse" is appropriate for agesGrades K,
This book is very fun and delivers a very simple message that young readers will understand, The illustrations are simple and overstated, making it easy for young eyes to take in all the detail of the lavish cakes and cookies that the city mouse eats.
My favorite part of this book is the facial expressions of the mice, The poor country mouse looks terrified when the cat and dog enter the room, Each mouse is expecting something very different and not entirely happy out of their normal element, Another useful addition to this book is the information about Aesop and the descriptive paragraph that helps young readers understand what a fable is, I would recommend this book for all children, I remember reading Aesop's Fables as a kid and I enjoyed them, I felt accomplished that I could read a story in a short amount of time, I also liked the moral at the end of the story, Muy chulo A tale between a mouse between a mouse in the city ,compare to the mouse that lies in the country, andthe dangers they face.
This was the tale of two mice, one in the city one in the country, This tale take us to the Roal Court for the city events, Plus there was a dog and a cat to scare the country mouse,
