Enjoy Christmas With Danny Fit Scripted By Amy Lane Copy

night, well early this morning when I finished this, it was a, However, in the light of day, it's firmly in the, camp. Only because I was looking for an epilogue, This was laugh out loud funny at times and at others it was painfully realistic, Neither Kit, nor Jesse are perfect and they quickly find that out about each other, Both have a troubled family life and overbearing mothers, Kit's has kept him trapped, through guilt, at home for longer than most men and Jesse's forced him out through indifference.

At thirty, Kit seems closer to Jesse's twentyfour, mostly because of his shyness and naivety.
In turn, Jesse is more worldwise which

makes him, if not more mature, more equipped to deal with the harshness of life.
Once they discover one another they strike a balance, Kit learns how to go out and really live his life, and Jesse learns to trust and rely on someone other than himself.

Without the epilogue, it felt more like a HFN than a HEA, So, except for the lack of an epilogue, I found it a sweet, funny story that I would revisit.
If the author was ever inclined, I wouldn't mind reading more about this sweet couple, Holy cow, this book was amazing and EXACTLY what I was looking for when I curled up in bed last night with my Kindle and a mug of tea.
I wanted something sweet and cute and funny, and that's just what Christmas with Danny Fit turned out to be.
The story was well paced and well written, and the characters were lovely and so so cute! GAHHH I don't think I can describe my love for this book properly, seriously.
There are no words no coherent ones, anyway that adequately describe how much I loved it, The pure cuteness actually made my heart ache in places, Kit was such a sweet guy, all I wanted to do was hug him! His interactions with his mother were interesting, because although she comes across as an absolute bitch, you can still feel certainly by the end that she does love him in her own strange way.
And Jesse I really don't know what to say about him, other than that he might very well be my all time favourite Amy Lane character right now.
Perfect.

So far, I've never been disappointed in anything that Amy Lane has written, Her stories always leave me wanted more! Please keep up the fabulous work : An adorable will make you feel better love story.
A bit of a fairy tale in it,
A thirty year old Kit is in love with his assistant, but doesn't feel he has any chance.
He buys a workout DVD featuring a fitness guru Danny Fit, That starts all kind of changes in Kit's life,
Jesse's avoidance of pronouns is funny too, Poor Kit. This is a wonderful story that mixes several serious topics into a heartwarming tale of two guys who have more to give to the other than they could have thought initially.

The main character here is Kit, ayo overweight, gentle and virginal accountant who still lives with his overbearing mother.
The story is about his emancipation and how he finally starts to create a live of his own inspired indirectly by his new assistant Jesse and with the support of a DVDfitness guru, Danny Fit.

The story is told entirely from Kit's point of view so the reader gets to know all about his hopes, yearnings and insecurities.
But Kit is not depressed or anything but rather determined, if insecure, His thoughts and endeavors sometimes pull at the reader's heartstrings or will make readers laugh a bit.

What I especially liked about this story is the way Jesse's personality and troubles are revealed without him being the focus of the story.
In several scenes over the book, layer after layer is subtly removed either by Kit's perceptiveness or Jesse's reactions to reveal his emotions and troubles.
This allowed me to glimpse more and more of the vulnerable, lonely young man behind the beautiful face and toned body throughout the story.
Although Jesse's character still stayed a bit distant to me I came to care for him a great deal as a wonderful match for Kit.

Their romance is believable, sweet and tender and I loved how it turned out that both could give the other what they needed.
At the core, this story is about looking behind the facade presented, and both ways, Kit learned how much more there is to Jesse than his good looks and gentleness and Jesse saw right behind Kit's big body and selfconsiousness and straight to his big heart.

Stories with characters that don't apply to the standard thin/wellbuilt archetype aren't numerous in m/m, unfortunaltey, and this one deals beautifully and in a realistic way with lots of real life issues.

Super super cute,

Kit is ayear old overweight virgin, living with his nasty and homophobic mother, When he cannot stop thinking about his young assistant, Jesse, and his smile, he knows he has to change his life.
Right now.

Kit buys all of Danny Fits healthy workout videos and starts to work out at home.
He also immediately goes out to find himself a nice little house, Perhaps he wont be such a pathetic loser once he loses some weight, lives in his own house, and gets a cat.
.

This was simply adorable, Kit was such a sweet protagonist, I especially liked how he handled his mom,

“Im gay, Ma, Im moving out before you kick me out, because Im tired of not having a life, ” He turned away then, so he didnt have to see her process this and didnt have to see her revulsion when it finally sank in.
“Give me a call if you want to get together for Thanksgiving, okay”

The romance was sweet, and I really liked how Jesse took care of the shy Kit.

I am such a sucker for the insecure guys, thinking they arent worthy, but end up finding true love.
Annual Christmas reread. Still love it.

A sweet and genuine story about growing up and falling in love,.Stars

Kit Allen is ayearold virgin whose life has been in a perpetual state of pathetic.
A pudgy accountant by day, he retires at night to the home he shares with his acerbic mother.
That is until he meets Jesse, his new office assistant, Jesse is everything that Kit ever dreamed about in a man: charming, goodlooking, kind, and hot as hell.
In a cometoJesus moment on a cold November afternoon, Kit realizes that to attain the unattainable e.
g. , Jesse, he seriously needs to turn his life around, Kit tells his mother he's moving out, puts a down payment on a house, purchases furniture, and invests in a fitness DVD featuring Gay God, Danny Fit.
What starts as a slow dance around each other soon blossoms into a romance as Kit and Jesse find their way to their HEA.

This is a sweet friends to lovers tale, I must admit, however, that parts of the story were baffling, I liked both MCs and was rooting for their HEA all the way, Their's was a slowburn as Kit and Jesse got to know each other and explored their similar interests.
But then everything suddenly goes Mach, One minute, neither knows if the other is gay or straight and the next, they're passionately kissing and sleeping together sans sex.
Don't get me wrong, I was excited for them but the cadence of their romance just confused me at times.
My other "huh" moment was Kit's insistence on seeing Danny Fit, I get the saying goodbye to the fantasy bit but did it have to be in person

Bottom line: a sweet, but at times confusing, friends to lovers story.
