Bliss books always please, More cute items to knit for the little one in my life, Beautiful book of knitting patterns loved the layout easy to follow patterns and the wonderful array of said patterns I was looking for a collection of baby to toddler sweaters that would be relatively fast to knit.
This book wasn't it. Great for the price!!!!! There's a few I am going to knit,love Debbie Bliss designs happy to buy second hand as knitters always look after their patterns!!!! Made one of the sweaters for a gift and it was an absolute hit.
I plan on making most if not all of these patterns, Instructions are well written and easy to follow, You will not be disappointed with the end product, Love the patterns in this book, they are just a little bit different to normal baby and toddler knits, I also like these fact that some of the knits go up to age seven, Love the zip up cable jacket just perfect for my five year old grandson, Love Debbie Bliss. . I've inserted the link because this 'new' Debbie Bliss Baby Toddler Knits's content is a direct repeat of the earlier book with the subtle change from a wool/cotton yarn to baby cashmerino which knits to the same gauge the pictures are not even updated! There are some minor editorial differences a new intro by Ms Bliss for example.
But this is not what people buy a book for, Knits for all seasons also has some knits for mum/aunty and some cute accessories, I'm very disappointed in Debbie and her publisher for this one a very talented designer I look forward to new books from has sold out with this one how I wish I'd 'looked inside'.
. The only positive I can think of is a friend who does not have knits for all seasons loved some of the designs so she will end up with my copy of baby and toddler knits.
Ms Bliss do better than this, Enjoying knitting some of these projects for my new granddaughter! I made the mistake of thinking it would be great on my iphone for on the go knitting.
I was wrong. The designs may be lovely
