of it I first saw Dr Hynes speak at a conference a few years ago and was impressed with his leadership style and vision for education I have followed his carear as a successful child advocate he is a Superintendent who truly practices what he preaches The timing of the release of Staying Grounded could not have been better as I will be taking on the role of Sup in my DistrictThis book offered practical advice on not only being a successful Superintendent but on how to be the type of educator who makes a difference not matter what role you hold in your school community Teachers administrators and aspiring educators would benefit from the practical suggestions for maintaining balance and truly making schools better for kids A standard educational administrative leadership
