Gain Access Light Of The Heart (Sterling Lakes, #1) Outlined By Regina Andrews Accessible In Digital Version

Disclaimer: I received a free copy in exchange of an honest review,

Regina Andrews has touched the topic of forgiveness and moving on in this book in a religious way from Christianity point,

The character of Cascade was the kind that was finding it hard to forgive the people of that town where she grew up, The reason she could not forgive them was because they did not come out and help her mom when she was being the target of domestic abuse by her husband.
I could relate to Cascade as well, in the sense of forgiving someone, It is indeed tough to forgive someone, who is not even sorry or feel that they should apologise in any way,

However, from the religious point, it shows that one can only be happy when they actually forgive and move on, Not everything has to be said and stated, Sometimes, sorry comes in the form of just not saying it at all, You just have to forgive so that you could move on,

Overcoming hurts of the past with faith and love creates the story, Light of the Heart,

Coming together at Sterling Lakes, Cascade Preston and Dan McQuay must face down their personal fears to finally allow love into their lives,

Follow Cascade and Dan as they draw on each other's strengths and weaknesses to discover that love is all that matters in the end,

I really enjoyed the characters in this story, The author made this couple do and say things that I have seen myself say or do, Being able to relate that personally gives the book more ooomph, so to speak, And that makes it an even more enjoyable read, Also, with this being the first of a series, I look forward to seeing what happens next at Sterling Lakes,

This story is sweet and light and I would recommend it to anyone who just looking for something nice and easy to read to pass a quiet and relaxing afternoon.

Light of the Heart by Regina Andrews is a beautiful book inside and out, published by Desert Breeze Publishing, Inc.
March,. It's Sterling Lakes Book One, and I look forward to the other novels in the series,

Cascade Preston is a stainedglass artist who struggles to overcome an awful childhood and trust in men, She doesn't want anything to do with the town she grew up in when she's sought to complete the stainedglass project to remodel an old church in Sterling Lakes.
Cascade encounters the project manager, Dan McQuay, and though she's attracted and single, she turns down the job and makes up her mind to forget his blue eyes until the ladies at the prison where she volunteers make her think twice.
They throw a guilt trip on her, and she ends up wanting to do the windows for the church when she visits the site and thinks they've gotten another artist.

The beauty of this book is in the method the author uses to convey God's light in the heart and entwine it with the light that filters through stained glass windows in a church.
Dan McQuay makes it his business to not get involved until he's entwined in the rays of light Cascade throws his way and he opens his heart to God's light.
When they both open their hearts to the stainedglass window project, God works in both,

At first Cascade has to face her fear of Dan's leaving like usual when he completes a job, Then, she's offered a big contract and must go to New York if she wants to follow her dreams, Will she marry Dan or follow her dreams and be the one who does the leaving She feels like she's sold her soul when she flies to New York and signs that big contract.
She must search her conflicted heart, and she's so confused she doesn't know what is the right thing to do, Can she face living in Sterling Lakes again, the town she grew up in and hates Is it possible for God to change her heart about Sterling Lakes and the people who live there, if she lets the light filter in through those stained glass windows Can she trust Dan not to leave her

Andrews has created wonderful characters and a lively, interesting plot in Book One, Cascades unhappy childhood gave her

a strong reason for not wanting to return to Sterling Lakes to design and make stained glass windows for St, Lukes church. Fortunately, her cousin and employee, Abby, turns a bid in for the job and forges Cascades name, Abby realizes Cascade needs to face her past, even though it will be painful, Dan also has personal problems that must be resolved so he can move on to have a happier life,

The scenes are remarkable where Cascade visits the women in Tanglewood Womens Prison and gives them positive feedback on their stained glass assignments, It adds a depth to the character I appreciated, On one particular visit, the women in prison accuse Cascade of holding the church renovation up by refusing to do the stained glass job, As she leaves the prison, Cascade realizes she might be in her own personal prison,

I love Ms, Andrews' writing, and Im sure Book Two in the Sterling Lakes Series will be another great story to enjoy,
Great book. Overcoming their fears and their past, Well done. I was given a gifted copy by Story Cartel in exchange for an honest review,
Cascade Preston is a stainedglass artist who has been signed up to participate in the refurbishment project of the church in Sterling Lakes by her cousin without her permission.
Sterling Lakes is a place she swore never to visit again after having lived there as a child, However, when Dan McQuay project manager from the church site visits her, she starts to think about going back to her hometown and accept the project,
One character I like a lot is Father Greene, He is sweet, caring and very kind to Cascade and Dan,
However, there are things I dont like in the book, for example I cant see the need to use some Spanish words just because they are dancing salsa, but if they have to be used, it has to be done properly.
Where it says “Oyo amiga” it should be “Oye amiga” and where it says “Muchos gracias” it should be “Muchas gracias,
Another thing I dont like is the constant mention of God, For two thirds of the book, it was so repetitive that the flow of the story gets lost,
There are some things that are not believable at all, for example, if Cascade hates so much Sterling Lakes, why does she go there so easily and accept the contract Why doesnt she go to visit her mother if she means so much to her We only know she is in a coma because of her husband beating.
What happened to her siblings We only know they were twins and their names,
