Drool! Zombies Rule!' is the story of high school student Lucy who just happens to be a zombie trying to pass for human,

Well to start with I have to say I loved the first person narration Lucy's voice was so fresh and vibrant I was kept totally hooked throughout! The writing style was so good I flew through this book in no time at all.
It was such an easy, enjoyable read,

This is a different take on zombies than anything I've read before, I thought it was a really cool and believable concept it's all to do with electricity and you'll just have to read it to find out more!

The characters were all great, particularly Lucy.
The storyline was surprisingly brilliant with some unexpected turns and a satisfying ending, This short novel moves along at a fast pace and never gets boring,

I would recommend this book to all fans of YA paranormal, It's a free read so what are you waiting for I downloaded this from smashwords awhile ago because of the title, This is a very fun YA book, where zombies and vampires are free to go to normal school as long as they don't give theirs secrets away, Great characters and a fun and fast read, Lucy Frost must battle the vampires and her fellow zombies to protect one innocent mortal in a REAL clash of the titans!

A FREE YA Novel by Rusty Fischer.
I've got to hand it to Rusty Fischer, he definitely has a creative side,

I mean who would have thought of creating a plot surrounding one of those silly yet useful hand towel dispensers, Obviously Rusty Fischer had.

It's a unique original plot line that'll have you hooked so fast you won't even know it, This plot is done in two days so you know there's going to be lots of action going on, It's a fast easy read that'll be devoured in no time,

I loved the characters, The AV club was so much fun to read, My favorite chapter would have to be number thirteen, it's funny and I just love how they react to finding out what Lucy really is, Especially Roger.

Though there is one thing that did bugged me, For most of the first half of the story Lucy is talking about her hard school girl crush on a boy named Alex and I thought it to be sweet.
However, a few pages down the road she starts talking about her zombie friend Ethan like there's something more going on, And I do get it, he's a zombie she's a zombie and since zombies can't be with non zombies I can see why she thinks that towards him, I mean she is a teenager after all, But for me I felt that the story really didn't need it since she was already going on and on about Alex,

Other than that I loved it, I enjoyed it with it's little twist and turns, I feel if Mr. Fischer wanted to continue Lucy's Frost story I'd download it in a heartbeat, I was happy with how it ended and I totally believe zombies rule over vampires, We need more of them out there, Plus, I can't wait to read more from Rusty Fischer,

I most recommend amp this is a,hearts from me ! This is one of those lighthearted reads that you zip right through and reach the end smiling about, Now, the fact that the main character is a zombie and she manages to make light of her afterlife is what makes this book shine,

Maybe I've been living under a rock, but I haven't come across a lot of books with zombies as main characters, I liked it. I liked that Lucy had these supernatural rules had to live by, I liked that she was able to live like a normal girl for the most part, I mean, sure, she has to cake on the makeup to hide her skin color and she can't touch anyone or they'll feel her decidedly notliving temperature, but she's normal in every other respect.
Well, I guess she does have some super strength, And she doesn't sleep. And she has to occasionally ingest brain matter, But other than all THAT, she's just like a normal girl,

Anyway. This book is funny and fast and Lucy is pretty cool, She sticks to her guns when

the chips are down and she learns that friends can come in all shapes and sizes, I loved the AV kids lightsaber references crack me up every time and the ending is left nicely open ended, Meaning, Rusty Fischer, that I would be on the zombie train if you decided to write more about Lucy and her crew,

Wow! What a great book, I was so very surprised at the quality of this book because let's face it, you never know what you're getting when it's free on the Kindle, or when it's YA, for that matter.
This book was awesome! Great writing style, great narrative voice for Lucy Frost, our teenage zombie trying to fit in at the local high school and getting busted by the heatsensing paper towel dispenser.
Lucy's a great character, and she sucks you right in to her world

There's a campy feel to this book, too, The vampireclique of Piper and Bianca remind me a bit of the movie Heathers, and then of course you can't help but feel that the author is poking fun of the whole Twilight, undeadhidingoutinhighschool thing.

There are some great passages in this book, including this one, where Lucy's just outted herself as a zombie to the AV Club and also Alex, her mortal boycrush:

.
. . He will say something like, if not exactly like, “Lucy, I dont care if you had three heads and six arms and four butt cheeks, I dont care if youre as cold as my refrigerator turned up to, I dont care if French kissing you tastes like tongue wrestling an ice spider, I dont care if you turn my Dads Jacuzzi tub into an ice bath, I dont care if you still lookwhen Imand you have to change my diapers in fact, come to think of it, Id prefer to have my diapers changed by a nubile young teenager I dont care if we break every single zombie law, I want to get with you, be with you and stay with you, no matter what.

And Im not sure why Im so surprised when it doesnt quite happen that way,

Poor, poor Lucy,

I look forward to more by this author, Recommended. It was inserting to read a story obviously from a zombie's point of view, I am a fun of vampires and from the first time I was satisfied they were out of luck, Vampires Drool!Zombies Rule! is the first book I red from Rusty Fischer and most certainly I will try another one, Great teenage zombie angst. The writing kept me turning the pages, Overall cute story. Loved it! I was blown away by this superbly good story!
I enjoyed it so much it had me sneaking in reads everywhere I went!

I don't particularly read many bone crunching zombie books.
However I love Fischer's writing and style that I knew I needed to try this one out,
To me, this ranks pretty high up there, It was one of my favorite books of,

On a more review stand point, it at times read to me like a really cool bad to the bone chick action movie, Which is a good thing I might add!

The only "problem" I may have had with this novel is that the action is more towards the end and it left me wanting more.

Other than that I had no problems,
It was funny in the right places, had a really good storyline, and a nice touch of bad to the bone chick,

Though this is a novel I so wish I could get in physical form with my other favorites, : So funny! Definitely worth reading, Very quick quirky cute book, If you life a zombie's and young adult books then you should check it out, I was pleasantly surprised by this, It was a good read, Rusty Fischer is the author of several YA supernatural novels, including Zombies Dont Cry, Ushers, Inc, Becca Bloom the Drumsticks of Doom and Panty Raid Zombie High, Rusty Fischer is the author of several YA supernatural novels, including Zombies Don't Cry, Ushers, Inc, Becca Bloom the Drumsticks of Doom and Panty Raid Zombie High, sitelink.
