I am really not sure what the hell I just read.
The mindfuckery is strong with this, I knew what I was getting into due to the author, but I didn't know to what extent,

Ok. Deep breath. This is a dark, dark, dark book, I can't emphasize dark enough, During certain parts in the book, I questioned myself if I should keep reading, I was beyond disturbed. It's a story of heaven and hell, God and the devil, Full of depraved acts of violence and sex, this is one woman's journey to hell and not back.


This tale is about Gloria, an aging, diseased, drugaddicted, porn star, Once upon a time, she was the best in the business, reveling in the money and fame, Now, she has hit rock bottom in life, doing disgusting things in order to get her next fix,

She encounters a man who has her doing even more vile things that question her humanity and morality.
But the rewards are too great and she follows him down a path straight to hell itself,



She doesn't think she deserves to be damned to the

agonizing tortures she has to repeatedly endure.
Can she be redeemed After all is said and done, does she still want to be

I was disappointed in this read.
After I got past the drug, sex, and bestiality of the first part, I really thought the story would pick up and give me something to root for.
However, that did not happen, This is a story of heaven and hell, Some descriptions were well done, Can one exist without the other Can one seek redemption through sacrifice Lots of why's with no real answers.
The main character, Gloria, is all types of wrong and is used, abused, ridiculed, and a weakling even when she is a demon who never really changes throughout the story.
I needed a reason to like this read, to root for a good guy, or a really cool bad one, but was unable to do so.
It was the same, 'God save me,' well forget him then, he hasn't been there for me, goaround that ultimately made me not like this read.
You don't get something for nothing and in my opinion, you don't give ultimatums to someone you want mercy from.
In the end this repetition of contrition meant nothing and in the words of the main character Gloria

"It made no sense at all.
Everything she'd been through, all the pain, all the struggle, What did it all mean What was the point

At the end of this read that is exactly what I was thinking.

The gorefest was seemingly endless, bringing formerlyknown barriers crashing down for me, After a while, this could become jaded and repetitive, like a pornclip losing its ability to titillate with umpteen viewings and jerkoff sessions but there is a decent plot too decent seems an alien word here and Gloria's character is quite well fleshedout: the aged pornstar left with nothing but bestiality porn shoots to eke out a living and to feed her addiction, or may be it's the other way round the addiction feeding on her, gnawing at the remnants of her life that is all set for a journey she couldn't have imagined in her wildest dreams.



The romp through hell has been described in an intensely graphic manner, noholdsbarred, most perversions under the sun covered for the benefit of sexualviolence seekers like us fans of splatterpunk and erotic horror, but again, it's not just the medley of tits, ass, dicks, cunts, blood, ripped flesh and cumshots there are questions raised about the nature of our beliefs, about the concept of heaven and hell, the architect of this imperfect world and his fallibility.
And there is a surprise in store at the end,

Sometimes life just plain sucks, You do what you can to get by, but sometimes even that isn't enough,
