inconvenience, that is the way Piper describes her encounter with Mason Dashel, From the minute the alpha male interrupts her morning after hangover on the airplane, she cant stand to be near the egotistical maniac with a booming voice and annoying sex appeal.
But to her misfortune she finds herself not only having to spend time with him at their best friends wedding but she also cant seem to shake the infuriating man in her everyday life.
Psychotic Unabomber with the constant mensies is the way Mason describes his flying companion, Piper Shores, After a horrific break up with his now ex, Brooke, he finds himself being engulfed by the temperamental red head that just so happens to be the maid of honor to one of his best friends, Lexi.
Even though she grates on his every nerve, he cant help but want a piece of her,
The two are like oil and water, a science experiment ready to explode any second but they cant help but be drawn to each other.
The only problem is there are other people they are involved with who not only prevent Mason and Piper from being together, but interrupt any chance they have at making a relationship work.
I needed a heads up on this book, It was not a safe read, This book was so angsty, it was almost a DNF, I'm curious how it all ends though, Sigh
This book had me snortlaughing atin! I loved it!!
Full review to come sitelinkwww, bestsellersandbeststellars. com What a train wreck!
I can't believe I persevered with this book, I truly wanted a train to run off the tracks into a bar and slice the cheater in half, Then I stop doing think about it, Here was this girl who met a guy at a seven eleven and thought she loved him, The "hero", Mason is the one who constantly tempted her, said he would be "friends" and was relentless in his pursuit of her.
She was weak and cheated on what I consider to be one of the nicer characters, Jax,
Mason was a terrible person but felt validated in using Brooke to constantly threaten Piper, Piper was a weak character that apart from reading how beautiful she was, sassy, etc we don't really see anything redeeming about her.
She is a so called free spirit, Meh.
The changing of POV's is like having an add break and coming back to a new scene without finishing the last, I found it annoying.
The storyline based on Ryker and Hannah and her boyfriend was obvious and that character was another blight on females in this book what a dumb mouse.
I don't even think she knew who Todd was, where did he work, why didn't she investigate she just moped around waiting for him all the time.
Read this book if you like soap operas My star rating for 'Double Coverage' isout ofstars! :
My Blogging Readers after reading an ARC copy of DOUBLE COVERAGELove and Sports series bookby Author Meghan Quinn via: Booksmoviesfandoms.
wordpress. com:
I was thrilled to be invited to read and review the ARC earlycopy of the second novel of the Love and Sports Series by Meghan Quinn titled Double Coverage because I loved the first novel so much.
First off I have to say the end of this novel left me saying, “Wow, just wow!” This story definitely takes you on a whirlwind of emotions because of the roller coaster these characters go on while dealing with feelings and the relationships they are involved in.
As with the first novel, you will also get this story in multiple P, O. Vs, eight P. O. V. s to be exact from: Piper, Mason, Lexi, Jake, Jax, Ryker, Hannah and Brooke,
On a flight to see her long time friend Lexis special day, redhaired beauty Piper Shores, had no clue how an obnoxious hot guy she meets on the flight would become more than she expected.
After an eventful weekend of wedded bliss and new acquaintances, Piper gets back to her life as a waitress at a local Denver sports bar with her coworker and friend Hannah.
She becomes intertwined in an unexpected relationship with a sweetloving southern guy named Jax, who she starts to fall for quickly.
But Mason, with his alphamale persona, seems to make her feel strong confusing emotions and wont stop pursuing her once he realized that she makes him feel alive again.
Mason is Jakes best friend and a professional football player in Denver, He met a female who was dressed with a hoodie and sunshades, on his flight to be the best man in a wedding.
After meeting Piper, he comes to the conclusion that she is rude but one sexy woman, Mason likes how Piper seems to make him feel alive again after having had his heart ripped out by his exfiance Brooke.
Even though it takes him a little time to finally realize that Piper is who he wants, he has to deal with the fact that he might not be able to completely have her.
But the one thing about Mason, is that he is determined to make Piper his,
Then, you have Hannah, Pipers coworker and friend, Shes sweet, nice and a goodgirl who is dating a guy who she sees when hes not away for business, Once she meets Ryker, Masons teammate and friend, he begins to never stop letting Hannah know that hes interested in her.
She is determined to wait faithfully for her boyfriend Todd, for the day that hell propose to her, Ryker on the other hand, is determined to make Hannah see that she should be his and until then, he offers her friendship.
In Double Coverage youll get a chance to get to know all of the characters well, We get to experience the relationships as they blossom and we witness some as they are destroyed, As the reader, youll sometimes feel at odds about which people belong together, These characters seem so realistic because of their imperfections, their emotional turmoil and the choices they make while trying to figure out what they truly want.
And let me warn youthere are many moments of hot interactions, filled with body on body, steaminess that will leave you breathless and make your toes curl.
Will Piper stay with her safe and sweet boyfriend Jax or will she follow her strong feelings for the hotalphamale Mason Can Hannah stay happy waiting for Todd or will Rykers persistence pay off and win Hannah over Find out where Brooke and a hot model named Ashlin fit into the equation.
I recommend this book because its from a great new series and the characters of the the story keep you interested in seeing where the story will take each
of them.
The ending is left good and ready for the followup novel of this series! Check this one out for sure,

Started ok.
. .
No HEA, Constant back and forth betweengroups of three people, Piper was a ridiculous whore and Hannah is a poor sappy idiot whos plot line was predictable from the very beginning.
So much sexual tension I thought I was going to combust!
Mason is a broken man who was pushed aside by his fiance, Brooke, so she could pursue her "dreams" of singing.
Brooke is a total joke, completely laughable which you don't expect given the fact that she was more level headed in the first book but the bitter green jealousy bug nips her in the ass because she can't take the fact that Mason has football.
There is a screw loose in her head,
Anyway Mason became a walking man whore where nothing in his life mattered, . . until he meets the "psychotic" red head on the airplane, Her smart mouth, drooling and abundance of puke really gets him going, . . odd but to each their own, . . right
Piper wants nothing to do with Mason even though she can't stop looking at his muscular build, unruly facial scruff and his deep brown eyes.
After gaining a little bit of revenge from his public display of her drooling, she thought she finally rid herself of the oh so great Mason Dashel but hell.
. . she was wrong. She finds that Mason loves to frequent the bar she works at in Denver with his teammate, Ryker,
The two running backs for the Denver Stallions, not only grate her nerves on an almost nightly basis but they get Piper to actually go out with Mason the only problem is.
. . Piper is practically in love with another man!
Yup you read that right, . . can we say LOVE TRIANGLE!!! And holy hell, talk about angst, Will she be with Jax Will she be with Mason Will Mason get back with Brooke Who is screwing who Who knows!!!!
The book is in multiple POV's and not only follows the crazy love.
. . square of Piper, Mason, Jax and Brooke but you also find out about Piper's best friend Hannah and her little relationship with Todd, her boyfriend, and Ryker, her admirer.
Soo there is a mini love triangle in a giant love square that will tear your heart apart, make you sweat and scream at the same time.
. . and not in a good way,
OH and if you were wondering, . . yes, JAKE AND LEXI make several appearances so you get to see where they are after a couple of years, God, I love them.
Double Coverage will make you laugh, scream, pull your hair out and leave you breathless as you try to get in the characters' heads to figure out what the hell their problems are!!
I thought I knew what to expect when I started reading this book.
After all it was my fifth novel by Meghan Quinn, and the second in a series, But no, she took all of my expectations and turned them upside down in a good way, It just goes to show Meghan can out do herself with each book, She manages to find a way to both do new things and yet maintain the essence of her story,
It wasn't Lexi and Jake that initially caught my eye, but Mason and Piper going at it on the plane.
It wasn't until I read Fair Catch that I realized the Mason in that book was the same disgruntled Mason I'd met in the excerpt from Double Coverage.
Mason was the man. I really liked him, especially in the beginning, I was excited when I realized he'd found Piper and she was into him too, I initially thought Piper was a badass but all that changed once Piper and Mason entered each other's lives again, However, they had to find a way to mess that all up, I liked them together, but they weren't good for each other, I mean Piper went from this secure woman to one who was in love with two men and unable to commit to either.
Then you had Mason who was good man but something Piper made him lose sight of that, Jax was an interesting addition to the mix, as were Brooke, Lexi, Jake, Ryker, and Hannah,
I'm sure you're wondering what it is about the book I enjoyed, especially if the character's changed significantly as the story progressed.
I really liked how the story kept me on my toes, There was very little I could predict, I could tell you what I wanted to happen, but there was no guarantee it was going to happen, Everything was so over the top, it was really hard to stop reading, I did not like the fact the book ended on a cliffhanger, well more like two, I can't tell you how excited I am book three is out now, I'm not very happy to hear it'll be the last one in the series, I do hope it wraps up all the loose ends, I wouldn't be averse to a spin off series if it doesn't, I have a feeling it's only going to take me a couple of hours to read it, I read this one in a single sitting and less than three hours, and that's probably the way it's going to go with Three and Out.
