reading these to my daughter, Classics. Did you know that Roald Dahl is actually a god, THE MAGIC FINGER
Not his best or most memorable, but still a great read for kids,

CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY
Roald Dahl's most famous novel is also one of his most memorable there aren't many people who have read this that couldn't recite most of the plot points verbatim.

ESIO TROT
On the surface this is a sweet story, but teaches kids deceit in order to win people over, Maybe it shouldn't be given to kids until they can learn right from wrong and understand that this is just a story,

FANTASTIC MR FOX
Dahl manages to create the perfect antihero in this kids book a thief who we are actually supporting, He's not stealing for any reason other than to eat, yet those he is stealing from are shown as villains, and at no point do we think this reasoning is incorrect! Absolute genius!

BOY
A wonderful memoir that shows where a lot of Dahl's ideas came from, as well as his disliking and mistrust of adults.

CHARLIE AND THE GREAT GLASS ELEVATOR
Not as memorable as the first book, but filled with just as many clever observations,

THE TWITS
Such a silly book, I loved this as

a kid and read it multiple times,

JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH
Although not as humorous as some of Dahl's other works, the ideas are still funny and silly and will keep kids entertained.

DANNY THE CHAMPION OF THE WORLD
A good kids book, though very different from Dahl's other, sillier books, This is far more dramatic and realistic than any of his other children's novels,

GEORGE'S MARVELLOUS MEDICINE
One of my favourites, in spite of being mainly filler, And the kid kills his gran How wrong is that

GOING SOLO
Although not as fun as Boy, this is still an interesting look at the life of the world's favourite children's author as he progressed into adulthood.

THE BFG
Genuinely scary for small children, this story of a loveable giant is just as effective today as it was when i read it as a child.

MATILDA
A wonderful children's story about how genius can often be overlooked if you don't have the right support system in place, Being one of Roald Dahl's last published books before his death in, this book can at times read like a friendlier version of Carrie, with slapstick taking the place of outright murder.
A great read, even for adults,

THE GIRAFFE AND THE PELLY AND ME
A silly story that will appeal to children due to its everyman characters and bizarre scenario,

THE WITCHES
One of Roald Dahl's creepiest books, and it doesn't have the typical Hollywood happy ending either, A fantastic read for older children, My grandparents have this to me for myth birthday and I cherish it!! Roald Dahls books will always be a significant part of my childhood, If you are a Dahl fan, there is nothing better thanof your favorite stories to mull thru! Whether it is Charlie and Chocolate Factory or The Fantastic Mr.
