Being a fan of military and shifter themed novels, I was delighted to see that this book combined both: a military background and a hot shifter.

But I can't really put the finger on the things which irritated me, I just couldn't "connect with the main characters I thought that Jason and Sara had not enough chemistry and the novelty, reading about a shifter in the military, wore off pretty quickly, since "Untamed wolf" was not that different from "normal" military novels.
The suspense within the book was well done, but like I wrote before, I expected something else from this book, more shifter action I guess
If you like military novels, you'll be entertained, but it's not a shifter novel.

Sergeant Jason Connell of Alpha Force and meets his new superior Lieutenant Sara McLinder, Sara new of Alpha Force, but felt someone was pulling one over on her with some of the stories she was told, Jason is drawn to Sara as she is to him, but the regulations forbid anything from coming of the mutual attraction, When strange events begin taking place on Jason and Sara work together to get to the bottom of them, but things are about to blow up in their faces.
Can they find the source of the problem, keep their hands off one another or survive to take a chance at their happily ever after Only time will tell.
I tried to
give you a sense of what the story involves without putting in any spoilers, but the story takes off from the opening chapter.
You are pulled in by Linda Johnstons' descriptive writing style that makes you feel you are right there with the characters experiencing everything they do with them.
As for her characters they are so well developed you will have to keep reminding yourself that they are only fictional characters, I look forward to any shifter romance but liked this book so much I had to add the other five books in the series so that I could see how the series developed and where it was going next.
