My Thoughts

There is so much I have to say about A Cursed Bloodline, that in order for me to say what I am hoping to say, my review may sound like I'm a raving lunatic.
You see ladies and germs, even though I adore Cecy like my own sister, she's a sadist pure and simple, She tears your heart into little bitty pieces and leaves no stone unturned in her desire to painfully torture all her characters to the brink of complete annihilation.

Next Installment: A Curse Unbroken Weird Girlsreleases Marchthby Loveswept

Cecy Robson proves once again that she is the reining queen of the Urban Fantasy Romance genre.
Nobody tells a story like she does, I was glued ever page, . . every word. This book was dark, daring and totally amazing, I felt every emotion known to man, and even a few new ones! If you aren't reading this series you have no clue what you are missing,
This was a lot darker than the previous books in the series and it didn't have as much humour, but this added depth and realism to the series.
I saw a different side to the characters as they had to deal with tragedy as well as Celia's dilemma and I am not ashamed to admit that I shed a tear or two.
I loved getting to know Danny and Bren better and seeing Misha in a vulnerable situation, Celia certainly has a tough time, and it showed her fragility as well as determination to fight on, Though the plot went from conflict to conflict and each were resolved very quickly, I am still enjoying this series immensely, sitelink You know that book that you've been waiting for, . . the one you don't really want to read because you're afraid you'll be horribly disappointed Yeah, That was this book for me, When I started reading it, I was fully prepared to hate it, I should explain that I was so frustrated and angry over the previous book in this series that my Kindle Fire came perilously close to bouncing off the far wall.
Repeatedly. That book left me drained and despairing that Celia and Aric would ever get a HEA, Oh, forget the HEA. I would have shed tears for a HFN, Don't get me wrong, I'm all for torturing characters but damn it! At some point they need relief and they never, NEVER EVER got it in CURSED BY DESTINY.
So, it was with obvious trepidation that I approached this book, I was ready to put rubber bumpers on my Fire, I was ready to just put it down and roll over to sleep, Yeah. About that

How do I talk about this book without spoilers I can't, And since I don't believe in spoilers, I won't talk about it, Except to say that all the characters are tortured, Terrible things happen. But
Seize A Cursed Bloodline (Weird Girls #4) Narrated By Cecy Robson Format Kindle
where there is betrayal, there is redemption, Where there is heartache, there is love, And where there are scars and horrible pain, there is healing, I didn't want to like this book, Every few pages, I screamed, "Oh no she didn't!" to the cosmos in hopes some echo of it reached Ms, Robson. But not once did I consider putting the book down or stop reading it until I reached the end, What a freaking emotional rollercoaster! I was wrung out, And despite myself, I'm giving it five because any book that can turn me inside out deserves it,

I've already preordered the next book in the series, What can I say I'm glutton for punishment, Just when Celia thinks the supernatural world cant turn deadlier, a new rival emerges, proving just how dangerous a powerhungry were can be,

Since being cursed with unique abilities, Celia Wird and her three sisters have fought the most bloodthirsty preternaturals in the Lake Tahoe region, But Celias greatest threat is someone she would have never suspected: Anara, a werewolf Elder who has allowed his hatred for Celia to spiral out of control, In a play for dominance, Anara tortures Celia and gives her an ultimatum: sever her mate bond with pureblood were Aricor Anara will kill everyone she loves,

From the instant they met, Celia and Aric have shared an attraction that cannot be tamed, So keeping Aric away is impossible, and Aric would sooner die than allow anyone to hurt the woman he loves, Misha, master vampire and Celias sworn protector, also finds his way into the chaos, seeking blood from those who have harmed her,

Now Celia and her sisters are caught in the middle of a war driven by lust, fueled by hatred, and destined to end in tragedy, For Anara is a force to be reckoned with, and he will not succumb without robbing Celia of those who hold her heart,
sitelink Brace yourself Cecy fans, A Cursed Bloodline will take you for an emotional rollercoaster ride, It left me not only without any sleep but stripped of every energy to function the day after reading this book, And with that said, A Cursed Bloodline is one of my Top Picks of the year,

This is one of those series that should be read from the beginning, Only because reading from the start makes the readers understand the journey of all the characters and especially understand how Celia has gotten to this point of her life.
It is a tremendous journey full of risks, danger and heartaches but also full of hope, love, family, friendship and a whole lot of survival,

Everything Ive come to expect and predicted from the very beginning of this series has not at all come true in this book, Sure, Ms. Robson gave it nonstop suspense and action as always, Theres a little less humor, but the snark and smart mouths of the characters are also there, but some outcomes, I did not see coming, In fact, Ms. Robson shocked me with the turn of events she brought to the Weird Sisters lives, Just when I thought Celia has endured the worse, nothing would compare to this, This “Cursed Bloodline” will be her ultimate test, I have to say, this will also test the loyalties of everyone around her,

There is just no way for me to do a recap of the story without spilling any spoilers, But let me tell you this, there are a lot of scenes in this book that has deep meanings to them so, pay attention, Watch for Celias friendships and how drastic some will change for the better or worse, specifically her relationship with her sisters, Danny, Aric and most especially, Misha, and even the Catholic girls too, Everything that has come to pass between all of them had me in tears,

The substories were just as powerful, Again, without doing a recap, Ill tell you that Emme and Liams story affected me the most, Okay, maybe not the most because every bit of this book affected me, but their story hit me hard, I also took Mishas role to heart, I wanted more for him but, I guess when it comes down to it this Master Vamp is not quite ready for his HEA just yet,

Up next is A Curse Unbroken, and it is the last of Celias story, She will finally get her happyeverafter and damn after this book it will be a welldeserved one, The series will not end after that but will continue to Tarans story, I was hoping for Emmes story but if I know Cecy, her characters have their way of revealing themselves, I trust she will keep us equally entertained and intrigued while we wait for their story,

ARC provided by publisher Don't want to miss any of our posts sitelinkSubscribe to our blog by email! Once again I am blown away by Robson's ability to bring out both the best in me and the worst.

She delivers in another spell binding addition to the Weird Girl series that had me constantly on the edge of my seat never knowing what to expect next.
I wanted to reach through the pages and comfort Celia one moment and reach through the pages and strangle Anara the next, Never have I loved so much to hate someone in my life, The only other villain I can possible compare him to would be Dolores Umbridge from my beloved H, P. Series.

I wanted to cry, rage, scream, tear my hair out okay bad joke here, stomp on my kindle, and gather the Wird sisters and the pack and protect them all, all at once.
I don't think I have read a book from Robson that has inspired me to feel so many different things all at once, hence bringing out both the good and the bad in me.

My heart wasn't just ripped out of my chest, it was clawed out, more than once and then stomped on, maybe even spit on for good measure because hey, why not

It ached.
I ached for all the hardships that came between Celia and Aric, Never have two people been more doomed to be together and struggled so hard for their love than these two, And if that wasn't heart wrenching enough, Celia and her sister's relationship became strained as well as Celia had to kept secrets from them all in order to protect them and keep them safe.

I think I need a breather,

I think Robson may have ruined all other UF books for me,

Will anything ever compare to this read Gah, This, Read.

This. Freaking, Read.

It tore my heart out, stomped on it and then stomped on it some more, I know I said that already but believe me, it bares repeating,

At one point I even had to put this down just so I could get a hold of my self, Too many stinking emotions all at once, I cried so many times it isn't even funny, If I didn't love Cecy so much I might actually hate her a little for the stomach heaving ride this book put me through, But of course I don't hate Cecy, I love her all the more because those emotions Well they just testified to me all over again how good of a writer she is.

I care about this group of people a LOT, I think about them long after the book has been put down and sometimes even randomly for no reason at all, I love them. I have time, emotions and so much more invested in all of their well being and when they hurt, I hurt and let me tell you, I hurt a lot reading this.
It was downright painful at times but it was okay because it made those rare happy moments, those triumphs, all the more wonderful and worth celebrating, I wanted to jump up and down when something godo happened and savor it,

I won't go into too much more detail because really, how much more can I sing this series praises But truly this is a UF series that is so worth it to read.
So worth it to go on that roller coaster ride from hell and then back again because you will love it, You will cherish the ride and when the book is done, you will want to do it all over again and be counting down the days until the next one.
Trust me on this.

Seriously, Cecy, was that necessary Did you really feel the need to put me through the emotional wringer Oh, who am I kidding, I freaking enjoyed the hell out of it.

I was very excited to dive into A Cursed Bloodline after the bombshell ending of the last book, but there was also some trepidation.
I was afraid of what our Celia would be put through this time, Turns out my fear was warranted, because Celia goes through hell, But the thing is, shes a fighter and always comes back stronger,

A lot transpires in this book, Celia is put in a deadly situation by nasty Anara, She must sever all ties from Aric, or those she loves will die, The guy is a serious ass, He threatens her, beats her up, and even puts her sanity into question, But worst of all he goes after my Bren, Yeah, Anara definitely needs to die!

What Celia and Aric go through is heartbreaking, He needs her more than ever, but she has to push him away in order to save him, The road they go down is rough and ugly, While dealing with that, Celia gets entangled in something nefarious that threatens to destroy someone else close to her, Believe me, Celia is not having a good time,

And of course there is Misha and his family of vampires, I get the biggest kick out of them! They would drive me crazy if I had to deal with them, but it is super entertaining when Celia has too.
Edith with her unicorn obsession is without a doubt my favorite, But I really like the evolution of Misha and Celias relationship, what a loyal friend she is to him,

Celias sisters are very much involved in this story, and have their own personal issues to deal with, But no matter what, theyre there for each other, What I really love, though, is how the girls and Danny handled stuff without Celia, It showed that they are competent and strong, not just Celias sidekicks,

When it comes down to it, A Cursed Blood is another great installment in the Weird Girls series.
