bought this book at a local authors' event at my library, The first few chapters left me a little lost, The temporal transitions weren't very obvious and I kept feeling like I was reading a sequel, I repeatedly checked the Series list to make sure this was the first, By the end of the book, the "odd" wolf chapters made much more sense I love a good breadcrumb trail and this one escaped my

usual quick deduction.
The action sequences were well done and picked up the pace considerably halfway through the book, I liked how Jenna didn't give in to the easy out and worked hard for herself and her brother, Jenna McArdle, a naïve Vermonter in the big city of New York, has too much on her plate already to be too disturbed by anyone elses problems.
Which makes her the perfect friend and companion for a handsome doctor hiding a terrible secret, Worse yet, Jenna knows almost as much about his subject as he does: Vampires,
