For me, I was always intrigued by Brea in the Unblocked books because she seemed so confident and focused, In Wild Aces, I enjoyed learning more about Breas past and how she was able to overcome such a tragedy, Additionally, when reading Trappers POV, I was also fully immersed in his struggle and his thoughts, When reading the emotions of Trapper and Brea, it felt real and substantial and that is a testament to Marni Manns engaging style of writing, The authors grasp on her characters allows for dimensionality and adds to their vulnerability and strengths,
If you are looking for a book with hot romance, a dirty talking hero, mystery and solid characters, you will enjoy this newest release by Marni Mann.

When I finished Marni Manns Unblocked Collection, I had this sick feeling in the pit of my stomach.
It felt like moving away from your best friendstheir lives keep going on, but you drift apart and you no longer know what theyve been up to, Marni Mann has gifted fans with a mini reunion in Wild Aces, but it is a standalone that can easily be enjoyed without reading the other books.
The story revolves around Brea, Frankies savvy colleague and best friend, Brea and Trappera professional poker playermeet at Frankie and Dereks masquerade party, and they fall deeply in lust without seeing each others faces, In this beautyfocused society, imagine just being attracted to someone because of their voice and personality, Thats so hot!
Brea and Trapper only get to speak briefly at the party and know very little about each other, but they continue their flirtation over über steamy phone sex.
Brea also starts sexting him almost immediately, Like seriously dirty sexting. This is my main issue with the book, How does a woman trust a virtual stranger enough to feel comfortable sexting that man and sending intimate photos of herself It seemed unrealistic to me,
The first quarter of the book is filled with lots of sexual anticipation and naughty deeds between the two, but they dont take enough time to get to know each other.
In between the sexy times, though, an extremely intriguing plot unfolds, Brea and Trapper both have demons from their past they are battling, and the subtle tension as revelations are made is well executed, The detailed layers of their individually fascinating history are peeled back at a gratifying pace, As Trapper and Brea learn more about each other, their relationship becomes more realistic and its clear they are perfect together, Theyre survivors, and I couldnt help but feel compassion for them particularly Trapper, However, Trapper is hiding something dark that could potentially destroy their relationship,
Wild Aces is a perfect combination of a mystery wrapped in an erotic romance, Youd better hold on tight because there are plot twists galore, Marni Mann has delivered an enticing, emotional, and original story, with a healthy dose of steam mixed throughout, Frankie and Derek returning to play vital roles in the story is just icing on an already enjoyable cake, Well done.

Brea Bradley was finally recovering from sad events in her life, She had lost the love of her life and it changed her life forever, She just couldn't deal but family and friends helped her and were there for her, Brea worked for her best friend and one evening at her friend's masquerade party she meets this mysterious guy she didn't see his face but she wanted him as much as he wanted their attraction was instant.
It was really not an instalove kind of book this was an instalust but one that you will truly enjoy, Two gorgeous people attracted to each other definable nothing wrong with that,
That day changed both of their lived Trapper left to Vegas for a big poker event and Brea was left with her needs for him.
They communicated via text and phone calls and that's how their relationship started everything was great until he comes back and they finally get to meet each other for the first time.
Brea literally lost it believing Trapper was her exlover and Trapper finds himself so confused and bound to find answers, Both of them realized something is up and with both of their research secrets come out and it was a very suspenseful read that I enjoyed very much.
Not wanting to loose whatever each other have started feeling they team up to find out the truth, Once they finally get to the bottom of everything their relationship is amazing, Truly hot and steamy and Trapper was definable a HOT man you don't want to miss on, If you have not read this book to all my romance/suspense reader this one is a must that I highly recommend, You will not regret this sexy, suspenseful, and hot ride,
