book! I read the book while listening to the audiobook, It was a bit challenging as the audiobook is a significant rewrite of the paper book, Both versions are good. The author added a lot of richness in his revisions for the audiobook and I would recommend that if you have to choose.


I found the book really helpful in understanding the Christian teachings about marriage that I didnt realize I had been taught.
Gaillardetz also does a fairly good job of expanding the Christian view of marriage beyond the family unit itself, encouraging spouses and families to “give flesh to the good news of Jesus” through the minutest of marital decisions as well as through grand actions of hospitality to the larger community.
