The production quality of this book was high, the graphics were sweet, but the story was a bit thin.


Reading time around twenty minutes, It maybe too early to call it just yet, and this is a big statement but i really believe that this is my favourite book of the year soo far! :
I have been meaning to read something from the Ruby Red Shoes series for years and I am so happy that I finally jumped down the rabbithole.

Ruby red shoes has beautiful cozy heartwarming adventures in London with her Babushka, Auntie Nettie, Auntie Pinky, Samantha and Hugo, these adventures are everything I dream of, with their rose and violet creamfilled chocolates, to accidentally meeting the Queen and her corgi's, to playing in the snow and skating on the ice, this tale will leave your heart filled with quiet rainbows and joy.

A cute little series, It was fine. I just hope Kate would bring Ruby to a different country instead of going back to her chooks I can read this series forever! Cutest illustration.

I love the series because they are just the complete package cute story, delicate illustrations, thick quality paper, just a lovely object to handle and own.
Describing it as charming seems a bit facile but that is really what it is,

In this adventure, Ruby Red Shoes and her Babushka go to London to visit her Auntie and cousins.
They see all the sights, and meet some very friendly corgis and their majestic owner! There are also some very cute and clever puns to spot within those illustrations.
Another visual feast from Kate Knapp,year old adored it sigh, just lovely : I have come to love this gorgeous little series of early readers.


Ruby Red Shoes Goes to London is full of love and kindness and tenderness,

In London, Ruby and her grandmother, visit family for Christmas,

We meet, aunts and cousins and the Queen! and we sadly learn a little more about why Ruby lives with her Babushka Galushka.


Ruby explores London and spends time playing with her cousins, before the time comes all too quickly to return home.
