Warning: Adult content, This story could be offensive to some, Great I really enjoyed this book, I liked that Earth was so different and that the author made the alien planet different,
I liked the dominant/ submissive theme in this book, It worked well for the characters and the Aliens filled the position well, I like that the author focused a lot on how Hallie had to adjust to their culture and that her Din was cognizant of the fact that she needed time to adjust.
Their chemistry was off the walls but they didn't fall straight there, they got to know each other,
Over all I thought this was a good read, with romance, intrigue, and Scifi, Truly Fantastic Book!!
This book was wonderfully well written, It was full of vivid, relatable characters, amazing adventures, beautiful love story, sexy aliens, scorching hot love scenes, and mind boggling alien landscape descriptions that were so creatively done, that it was so realistically brought to life with clever wording, it almost felt like being inside an actual science fiction movie.
I was instantly engaged with the story and people that it was hard to set down, I definitely didn't want to stop reading for a moment!! This Author is one to watch for and I will be willing to by anything else she offers in the future! This book would be a great addition to ANY library!! BDSM science fiction
Book was a fun read but I'm conflicted on rating it higher b/c I was not always comfortable reading the story.
There are scenes of exhibitionism and voyeurism, I like V but not a fan of E, No sex sharing.
The story is told in both H/h pov present tense, For beingst person I wanted more insight into H/h,
I loved how author described the vegetation and the different beings in her world, Very cool world.
I wanted a more of a Hell No from H that he was never going to sexually share h, He had a more we will see attitude or he said No but we got no insight from him on his feelings, earth is in bad shape, . . it's a struggle to survive, aliens raid it for slaves, a young woman is sold to a dominant warrior as a sex slave, they fall in love but she is kidnapped by his enemies, she fights, hides and is rescued, Run away girl
I like stereotypical stories, This book is one. Alien versus the earth girl, Earth is a wreck with roving bands of gangs who attack those that are weaker, Hailey is hunted by alien trackers, Bought unconscious onto their spaceship she is taken to a slave auction, She's lucky, friendly aliens purchase her, Read the rest of her story, Hallie and Zar. Cheesy mars needs submissive sex club smut, Yep. Don't buy if you are looking to increase your IQ, But it is entertaining and sweet, if a little repetitive and disingenuous,
Hallie is from Earth and has spent the lasto years she is nowon her own hiding from rest of Earth's dystopian future inhabitants.
Essentially a bit of a MarySue, I did find the h charming, Zar was harder to read even though some of the POV was his, until near the end, Hallie is taken by aliens and put up for auction where Zar and his colleges buy her, They run a sex club on their home planet where the majority of the population is dominant, Lucky for Hallie, she is a natural submissive, I am so tired of BDSM stuff, but this is pretty straight forward with little of that, A fun read, if a wee bit long.
This book could use some judicious editing, It is way to descriptive on things that don't really advance the story, The ending though is way too abrupt and not fleshed out enough, It is a good premise though just not well written enough to make me want to read anything else by this author, I write Romance because I have to!Its just inside me, The I write, the I have to continue doing it, I picture my stories taking people away to a happy place, That makes me happy!I have made it to the TopBestselling list several times, Im thankful for all of the people who helped me get there!
