Excellent second book in the series.
Seemed to short I didn't want it to end, John added a twist to the story, I didn't see that coming, Horrible writing I kept reading because I wanted to know how the story ended, But I'm so thankful that the next book is about a different person so I'm not needing to read it! I had to read many passages over because it was so poorly written that it didn't make sense! It felt like she never even reread her own book.
. . and she tried to put the old highlander speech in in several places and it totally didn't work, It took me days to read it because I couldn't make myself pick it up, . . Time of the Picts is terrific

This whole series has kept me coming back.
My only complaint is that they seem so short and are read too quickly, I enjoy the connections between the modern day characters, Time of the Picts Dunskey Castle,, my sixth read from author Jane Stain, an author I've wanted to read since I began acquiring her books back in, I ownof them.
I got this book back in October ofamp am just now getting around to reading it as I've committed to reading the Dunsky Castle series in its entirety.
I look forward to the next book from her, Time of the Druids Dunskey Castle, I'll read more from this author amp in this series, but what really got me going was narrator Andrew McDermott, I love his Irish brogue.
