Take Advantage Of The Quest For The Kid (The Explorers, #3) Devised By Adrienne Kress File Format Digital Format
liked this series and the imagination that went into it, I love the adventure and the suspense but am happy it is done, The third book in the Explorers series has more mystery, more bravery, more danger than ever before! The perfect read for fans of Chris Grabenstein and The Mysterious Benedict Society!
Sebastian is still at large, kidnapped again!
Evie is still missing her grandfather, the leader of the Filipendulous Five!
And there's still an explorer hanging from the edge of a perilous cliff!
All this and more in the third book in the Explorers series: The Quest for the Kid.
Such a great and fun series! I read the third book and immediately went back and read the whole series from start to finish, I love the characters and the writing keeps you interested! Sad it's over!
I was so excited to read this and now disappointed that it's over, especially since it's the end of the series.
I loved all of the characters and the stories were filled with adventure, It did not end how I thought it would, but I'm still very satisfied with the whole thing, Without allowing myself to be too sad that it's over, I've started Bookagain to now read the whole series from start to finish, And I can't wait for the audiobook, since the first two were done so well! The idea for this series was a good one, but the long adventures for seemingly no real reason are offputting The whole bookabout the Kpop group why I get that it was part of the journey but it seemed endless and like it was going somewhere rather than being a place to escape from.
Plot twist was only soso, The Quest For the Kid The Explorersby Adrienne Kress, pages, Delacorte Random,.

Evie and Sebastian are on the hunt for all of the Filipendulous Five.
Even though Sebastian doesnt want to be n this journey at all, but he stays for Evies sake, Not all of the Five want to be found and at least one of them is in a terrible situation from which they cant seem to escape,
I just saw a blurb on the back of this book that says “, . . Fans of a Series of Unfortunate Events will be drawn to this, ” Now I get the increase of adventurous books that are also trying to be absurd, Its not working.

sitelink blogspot. com/ It was so hard to get into this, I gave up a third of the way into the book and skipped to the end, I wanted to know if she found her grandpa, I won't spoil it for you, Maybe someone else will enjoy this finale to the trilogy but I could have went without it, My favorite part was when the four remaining members of the Filipendulous Five got to rejoin the Explorer's Society, and everyone was pretty much happy in the end, My least favorite part was when the monster attacked the submarine and both Alistair and Sebastian got injured, and only Sebastian survived with the help of the only remaining water from the waterfall.
The problem with these books it's the pacing, I came for the book expecting action and of course character development and such but I
got hit with lots of filler, I do think if at least the action started a bit early for a kicker I would've been more drawn into it perhaps, Another thing about the book is the grandpa, What did the heck happen to him He literally just died and the characters just left him as if nothing happen, Actually, did he even die Whatever happened to him was just left in a blur and that does upset me considering he was the main antagonist, Overall the story was an okay read that's all, This book was really good, I really loved how Evie grew as a character, The book was so exciting and made me racing through the pages until the end,
I recommend this to anyone who likes adventure, creepy plots, and more, Note: This is therd book in the series, WOW!! WHAT A CONCLUSION TO THIS INCREDIBLE SERIES!! I love all of these characters so much and Sebastion and Evie are the best characters!! I can just see them growing up and starting their own explorations and explorer's society together and getting married.
But hey!! I love this book series!!
I also know that this is something we deal with in our world but I don't like how she made one of the characters lesbian and thankfully she does not go into that to much but I just did not think it was appropriate to add in this book series.
Overall, I loved this series!! The second book is still my fav, but this had an amazing ending!!
Bravo!! Bravo! This story was so creative!!! A GREAT READ!! :
Totally recommend this series!!! I really loved this book, The explorers books continue to be some of my favourites, I find them really funny, This was a good conclusion to a great series, Each of these stories feels like a journey and a half and for that, I ended up really loving them, For a while there, I really, truly, was afraid that the author would do the unthinkable, and make this trilogy end as a tragedy, No one would see it coming, and it'd def, have shock value, but I'd be mad AF, Thankfully, I worried over nothing, In a sense, while I generally won't want to casually comment on "someone's death being welldeserved", perhaps the moral of the series is really straightforwardly presented: Don't be a selfish and shitty person.

This last installment is jampacked with plot, one thing right after the other, at some point making me forget what the big picture was because I got sidetracked by what was randomly happening, but ultimately, the take is something towards my liking.
There's a lot of outlandish and unrealistic stuff seriously, being kidnapped for so many days without letting them know you were safe, realistically would cause loving parents to have a fullblown meltdown, but overall, it was entertaining.
