I really enjoyed reading this book, I hope at least one more will be available
with the same folks, I am going on Amazon right and see what all John has written, I found me a good author, Glad there was no zombies, I hate zombie books. very good read, one of the best book I've rea, good story stay on track without a lot sidetracks will be reading more thanks Clean, interesting book
An unusual book, I'm old, set in my ways but who wants to read something that has a curse word every ten words, That usually means an author who has little to say! Same for extreme sex scenes, This books is NOT like that, Intriguing book. New outlook! Thanks, John Sullins! I'm now looking for more of your books, This is the second book in a series about a virus that ends up wiping out aboutof the people on the Earth, Cliff, Jake, Maryann and Amanda are doing the best they can to survive, They have made some very good decisions and are working well together,
Not everything goes well, of course, as they end up dealing with the muder of a young girl, They gather evidence before they confront the killer, Cliff and Maryann go to Arkansas to see if Maryann can find her grandparents, There's the usual stuff about things they need to do in getting food, etc,
Then the book takes a really dark turn, Maryann finds out what happened to her grandparents, a young teenager dies and, if that isn't enough, the end of the book is an incredible downer,
I enjoyed the book until I got to the last part, In my opinion the book should have ended after Maryann found out what happened to her grandparents, She and Cliff could have returned and the book concluded with what happened to the two couples in the following year or so,
I would have given this bokif it did not have the ending it did, I think what happened was pushing things too far and spoiled the brave and strong actions taken by the couples up to that point, It's upsetting enough that I taking offbecause of the ending, .
