If youve visited or hope to visit Europe, specifically the Netherlands, the scenery you would anticipate seeing is a far cry from the wartorn, Nazioccupied land described in Stewarts A Song for Her Enemies.
In this book, travel back to this dark period and experience the fear and solitude the Jews felt, The main character, a young Jewish girl named Tamar,

finds herself in an unusual circumstance as she happens to have beautiful blonde hair and the voice of an angel, both gifts from God for such a time as this.
Then she meets him, the handsome doctor who despite his Jewish heritage, does everything in his power to protect the blonde beauty he loves and uses his training to treat not only friends but enemies as well.
Or put yourself in the shoes of Tamars good friend, who happens to be Christian and places herself in grave danger, trying to shelter, rescue, and do what is right when evil prevails like heavy metal.
Take the dreaded train ride in the dark or find yourself being forced to play melodies while watching others march to their deaths.
What is different about A Song for Her Enemies is Stewarts ability to portray how God is an everpresent help.
He never leaves or forsakes us, He is always there only a call away, These characters are unforgettable, portraying Judaism and Christianity, Id love to read more about them and am hoping the author continues with this story life after surviving holocaust

ad reminiscent of Corrie ten boom

Although this story is fictional, there are a lot of similarities to Corrie Ten Booms writings.
Even in the midst of Nazi concentration camps, Gods goodness shows up, The ending is somewhat rushed, but there is a satisfying conclusion, It seems there may be a sequel in the works, sitelink sitelink sitelink sitelink www, pinterest. com/sherristewartauthor sitelink /author/sherristewart sitelink sitelink sitelink sitelink www, pinterest. com/sherristewartauthor sitelink /author/sherristewart sitelink,
