Wow this story made me tear up, This is bookand about Xander and Sadie, These two have scars which both run deep, Can they over come to find love I loved the meddling brother Michael and sister in law Maggie, They are too funny about popping up when you least expect them, Scars

His sister in law gone to a matchmaker to help him find someone, She did the same thing wanting to find someone to see her instead of her scars from a fire, They had a great time talking at the diner, he asked her to stay because it was real late and he wanted to be with her.
When he was closing up his shop ,he'd seen her from the bedroom window and saw the scaring on her arm and shoulder, He'd already seen a hint of her scars as far as he was concerned she is perfect, On a hike thay told each other about their scars her from a fire,his from his gf dying from driving drunk, On the way home an accident happen and they saved each other, All is good Xander didn't expect anything to happen when he meets his match Sadie, The minute their eyes meet they have an undeniable spark, Even though it was a short story I enjoyed it, Together they will help each other overcome some past hardships, They did have a little scare but it seems to help cement the relationship rather than destroy it, I can't wait to read the next story of this series,

It was cute reading about Xander and Sadie because they were matched together on the matchmaking service and i liked how their relationship happened as they got to know each other.

Xander was a furniture creator that who was willing to give love a chance after a heart breaking accident.
While Sadie thought she was unlovable because of physical appearance, This romance definitely had layers, Xander and Sadie both have scars from their pasts and they find exactly what they need in each other, I love how this flies so organically and there is no huge drama or drawnout separation, Its sweet with a heartfelt moment that has me tearyeyed but I finished reading with a big smile on my face,
Such a pleasingly emotional short story, Xander is sweet and protective and caring, Sadie is vulnerable and apprehensive, An enjoyable insta story well worth the time,

This quick story has likeable characters, sensitive issues, instant attraction and believable chemistry between Xander and Sadie, For me there needed to be a little bit more after the events in chapterand I wasn't too sure on the time frame between the last chapter and the epilogue.
This is one of those short reads that you know could have been a much longer read and you'd still have read it,

The two meet at his sisterinlaws diner and have an instant connection, He wonders why shes wearing a bulky sweater when its so hot, he finds out later by seeing her burn healed skin on her arm and neck.
Its during a picnic the next day that they act on their attraction to one another, When he doesnt react to her burns he tells her saw her last night through the window, Sadies relieved he knows and still finds her beautiful, he tells her everyone has scars, that just makes them survivors, Their first time together is sweet and hot, When she asks about his scars, he tells her about his college girlfriend and her accident, Sadies tells him he was, It responsible for the accident, she drove while drunk, he could not have stopped her, On their way back from their picnic, Xander trys to avoid hitting a back and crashes the car, When he comes to, he sees they are upside down and trapped by their seatbelts, Then the engine catches fire, He cuts Sadies belt and tells her to get out, She grabs the knife and cuts his belt while fighting her panic over the fire, Thankfully they both make it out with minimal injuries, Epilogue with Xander proposing.
You are not told how much time has passed, He still wearing a sling from the accident but has made her rocking chairs for her birthday How did he manage that Good story, really liked Sadie and Xander.
Xander is the second story in Lana Dashs Mountain Men Matchmaker series and tells a short, yet heartfelt and emotional tale of beauty being in the eye of the beholder.
Sadie embarks on her meeting with the sexy, broad and ruggedly handsome Xander nervous and with trepidation due to her less the perfect physical form.
But what Sadie doesnt expect is the overwhelming and instant attraction, and the genuine, caring and completely honest man who greets her and ultimately wins her heart.
I loved this story the characters were charismatic and the storyline was captivating, I cant wait to read the next in this series!
