Download A Groom For Altar (The Blizzard Brides, #7) Depicted By Parker J. Cole Released As Text
Put It Down!
This was the first Parker J, Cole book I've read, and I was captivated, I simply couldn't put it down, It's been years since I was able to sit down and read a book cover to cover, but this one drew me in.
Now I'm trying to fight out which of her books to read next, The Knock on the door!
I choose to rate this book, Why do you ask Well, Altar was in a rough start at the beginning of the book and in the middle of the book, a lot of unanswered questions were answered.
The end of the book just made me love the characters even more, I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys the male or female order bride days, When a person is seeking a husband or wife to help them support their lives and if love finds its way well let it blossom.
The Pastor of this small town was very overbearing but you need that in a good book.
I enjoyed this book and I'm looking forward to reading thest book The Butterscotch Brides and I'm most definitely will be looking forward to the newest book With Altar Big Sister Purity in June.
“Miss, Im a praying man and before I do anything, Im going to pray about it, ”
This book had me smiling for the majority of the book, It is a super sweet romance book with two wonderful characters that demonstrates how a romance should begin and stay throughout a relationship.
This is the perfect book to read if you are looking for something nice and sweet.

Altar husband died in a blizzard and she was pregnant.
The pastor felt the widows should remarry, They put ads in papers, so the men that were interest could write back,
Wolfe answered a letter from Altar who wanted a husband for her child, Wolfe shows up and he's lost knocked on the door, finds Altar in the middle of delivering her child by herself.
Both Altar and Wolfe have secrets they are keeping from each other, Last Chance offers new beginnings
Altar doesnt even know what love feels like, but she knows what its not.
When Wolfe comes into her life at the exact moment shes asking God to send someone, can she fight the idea that Wolfe is a gift a gift she just might love
Wolfe has his own baggage to carry, yet he cant deny that he wants to be whatever this little spitfire needs him to be.
These characters are well developed and definitely people I enjoyed getting to know,
I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys mail order bride/groom books, Altars husband dies during a blizzard, but she is left pregnant, The town's pastor has required all widows to get remarried or leave town, Altar writes a letter to find a possible husband and Wolfe responds, But when they are found in a compromising situation, the pastor demands that they both marry or they will be kicked out of town.
What will Wolfe choose to do Will he leave Altar now with the babies Or will he take a chance on making a new life with this family who can be his No, this ChristFic historical romance isn't a Christmas story.
Not exactly. But it does include Christmas and New Year's Eve along the way, and that pretty, wintry book cover with its soft glow helps, so hey.
The A Groom for Altar's going in this lifelong Christmaslover's Yuletide category, thank you kindly,
I ate up this novella in a satisfying sitting,
I did notice that the story makes some of the same points more than once, and I didn't fully buy into an aspect of the plot that's taken rather literally from a supernatural story in Scripture.
I also didn't find Altar's reason for entering her first marriage to be wholly convincing,
Still, the unfolding of the "new family" theme gives this read plenty of warmth, Plus, after the intriguing prologue gave me cerebral chills, I was pretty amazed later on to find out what it meant.
Now I'm interested in reading another book in this series sometime, about Altar's sister, A Groom for Altar Wolfe and Altar
Great job Parker J Cole! I love the book and I recommend reading it! It has great characters and plots and some exciting moments that you will be surprised by too.
A few twist and turns, sweet babies and a gentle giant winding down to a couple in love.
More too but you need to read it to get the full effect of the story, You're never alone
This is a story about discovering that you are never alone.
Altar and Wolfe were able to fill a need in each others lives, I enjoyed reading their story and seeing their happily ever after, Altar Pennington isn't like most of the widows in Last Chance, Nebraska, After a blizzard takes her husband's life, she's neither mournful nor joyful at his death, Her biggest concern isn't how she's going to live now that she's a widow but how is she going to raise a child on her own When the preacher demands that all the widows remarry or leave town, she is forced to seek a husband to provide a father for her child.
When former steel driver Wolfe Laingsburg receives Altar Pennington's letter, he accepts her proposal to meet in Last Chance and from there decide if they can form a life together.
Arriving in town, he unwittingly sets a chain of events that lead to Altar and himself being found in a compromising position.
With the preacher breathing down their necks to wed for the sake of propriety, Wolfe must make the decision if he can marry a woman he doesn't know much about.
Altar and Wolfe are forced to trust each other, . . but is trust the only element needed to build a marriage upon, especially when a danger from her dead husband's past rears its head, threatening her life and the life of her child.
Will trust be enough for Altar to depend on Wolfe to protect her family Would it be enough for Wolfe to risk his life to save a woman he barely knows Wolfe was my absolute favorite! I love how big he was but yet a gentle giant.
This is a great story of a sweet romance that comes about from a most inconvenient situation.
The story pulls you in and holds you spellbound, The author throws a shocking circumstance into the story making it a fun ending to the story.
Great read!
Was given a complimentary copy, All opinions are my own, Book seven of the Blizzard Brides series a well written short story that kept me turning pages.
Widowed Altar Pennington and former steel driver Wolfe Laingsburg's story of suspense, drama, danger, lies, twists, turns, villains, and romance.
I enjoyed seeing this story come together, I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review, I liked the story
I am so conflicted with this review, I really liked the story, Short and sweet. The storyline was very unique and I was drawn in by the writing, But the writing changed a little and the story began picking up and then stopped, I wanted to read more, but it was over,
I feel like so much more could have been told, more interactions between Altar and Wolfe, just more.
I want to give a,rating, but Im mad the story just ended,
Nevertheless, I will read more by this author, Good story
The characters are well done, Altar is a virtuous woman, No one questions that, but when found alone with a stranger, Wolfe Laingsburg, the pastor insists they marry.
Turns out Wolfe is just as virtuous as Altar, He is immediately protective of her and that's before he even knows her name, He is an interesting combination of a character from Biblical history and another from American history, . . well he was current to the time the story is set,
I love that even the characters say that the pastor is out of line making the recently widowed women remarry immediately or leave town.
. . even as they go about preparing to wed, Alter has a dilemma. Expecting, she loses her husband during a blizzard, Now the town's reverend is forcing her and all the other widows to get married or be thrown out of town.
She writes a letter and is able to find one, Wolfe but their first meeting goes less than expected, and according to the town's pastor, they must get married immediately or both be put out of the town.
Pastor Collins was the only character I didn't like in the story, I loved Altar and Wolfe, and how they had to work through some things and was able to trust each other to tell the other the truth about their respective pasts.
I was so engrossed in the story, I was able to read it in one sitting, I loved how the author gives you a complete, but interesting story in a short amount of time.
I also enjoyed some of the biblical similarities, I really enjoyed the story and can't wait to read another book from the author, Although it's shown as a series, And I haven't read any of the other books in the series, I'm thinking it's just because it's a male order groom type series.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Can't recall reading a Parker Cole story, however I can say that "A Groom for Altar" The Blizzard Brides, was a wellwritten novella that I truly enjoyed.
A clean historical romance with religious undertones was simple comfy read, Altar and Wolf were likeable characters, She pictured as a very petite woman coupled with Wolfe, pictured as a bear of a man with the strength of Samson.
Smiled at the naming of the twins, . . the first being Omega although born last and the last name Alpha who was born first, Quite entertaining although the parson was so annoying, I am an author, speaker, and radio show host with a fanatical obsession
