Definitely the opposite of Alien Mate, In this installment of eve langlaiss alien mate series Lex finds him self going on a misson for his perfect mate but ends up causing a stir in a small New Mexican town.
He is lucky that Maya finds him after her shift, I did like Maya and lex and once they both stop fighting the feelings for each other they are able to complete what the oracle asks of Lex to find his mate.
Also i enjoyed seeing that Lexs society finally but love matches over abducting the ladies, Another blue alien hunk to make as swoon!

After encountering a life threatening situation he is saved by Maya a Latina who is instantly attracted to Lex and would like nothing more than to be ravished by him and be taken to his home world.
She was a delightful character funny, sweet, kind and caring a truly beautiful person inside and out and even though she knows she's not Lex's mate still helps him to find his original intended even though she wants him for herself shows what kind of selfless person she is.
The chemistry between them is a palpable thing even though they try to deny it there is no escaping resulting in some steamy and passionate scenes between them.
I just simply adored this book and the only reason I gave this bookinstead ofis that I found the book a tad too short and would have loved a longer version of it like her first book in the series which had way more pages.
Mutch better than the first one, This installment is more focused and has a fast, smoother flow, it was good. like that they made there choices to be together Short story,pages.
Maybe I'm OD'ing on the aliens looking or hooking up with Earth girls but I couldn't wait until this story was over, The trick the Oracle placed on them was not only cruel but dangerous, Didn't really get it. Lighter on conflict and on smut if I'm recalling correctly than the first book, but the characters were just as likable, I think this might be the first book I've read with a Latina heroine, Anyway.
Call me crazy, but I like the idea of an alpha warrior showing up, telling me I've been chosen by some Oracle to be his mate, that he prefers my extra curves, and that we're leaving for a new life immediately.
But that probably says a lot more about me than you really want to know,
Basically, if you're looking for some fun and sexy smut with just a bit of conflict and drama, these are a good starting point.

Sorry to get biblical, but this is only my opinion, I'm glad that at least the author chose a Hispanic/Latin in this story, Still the book was another ok read for me, Sneaky oracle! In this alien abduction, the abductor doesnt want to follow his orders for his abductee, and he is a big rule follower, so this confuses him.
Of course, because he has never broken rules before, he isnt sure what to do, but decides to follow his instincts, Everything works out in the end, proving love always wins, yet again Lex's ancestors have chosen a mate for him, there's only one problem, She's not the earthling he wants,
Mayas been raised to believe in aliens, and when she saves one from drowning, she cant resist taking him homeand into her bed,
Lexs mission to collect his mate has been fraught with difficulties, and to add even more trouble to the mix, he finds himself attracted to the wrong earthlinga curvy human who makes him question tradition.
Things get complicated in New Mexico because the militarys on the hunt for an ET, Mayas determined to do whats right, and Lex finds himself in the biggest battle of allthe one between his heart and his honor.

The curvaceous and obstinate earthling, Maria, is his best hope of completing his mission, just not the one he expected, You also get a little forbidden, instalove going on here, but it fits the fast pace, For those who want a light, rapid read between longer books, Alien Matedelivers, In this novel, Maya the human woman destined to be Lex's mate, is not forced opposing the previous novel where the woman was abducted and kept initially against her will.
Here Maya saves Lex from drowning and helps hiding him from the military until it's safe for him to supposedly find his mate, Amanda, What they both don't know is that Maya is the mate and not Amanda, While trying to find Amanda they can't stop falling in love with each other and have passionate sex every time they touch, Not caring he's breaking protocol and tradition Lex takes Maya for his mate, both then choosing to be together instead of the Oracle ordering it, Very romantic. Fortunately she really was his mate and there were no consequences to be leery of, Except the knowledge that apparently the military already know about the little blue aliens who come to earth to kidnap women, I enjoyed this book more than the first book, Overall:

The stories are loosely related in that the heroes all come from the same planet looking for their mates but each book stands well enough alone.
Basic plot:
Lex is sent to find his mate! Only when he arrives on Earth, its another woman that catches his eye.

My thoughts:
I ended up liking this one a touch more than book, though this hero also wasnt my favorite.
Most of the story takes place on Earth, with humans searching for the alien so it had a vague feeling of urgency/danger in the background.
Overall I just didnt fall in love with this one either!
The tension was a touch better than bookfor me and the sex felt a little more emotionally developed.
Still, there was a lot of sex happening without the relationship developing for me so I never had strong feelings for the book,
