first I was not stoked about the fold out, brochure style, Then I realized it can be read like a book with pages if you just turn it over after reading the first half, Value wiseseems like a bit of a stretch but I can assure you that all of the information published here is highly relevant especially in the field and also it seems waterproof.
I am new to west coast and mushrooms here, here are some pictures I believe I have identified from this guide alone, Birch Bolete, Cauliflower Mushroom, and Coral Mushroom, All in Vancouver this is a great field book for fungi lovers, perfect pictures, small can fit in your back pocket, water proofed, I have a few feild books but either the photos dont show enough detail for recognizing the shrooms.
this one is perfect. and i HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend it Quite small pamphlet, Good for your pocket, but a little too expensive for what you get, It's a good quick reference guide when you need that confirmation of a species you're already knowledgable about, I found it helpful.
