I really enjoyed sitelinkRutledge Etheridge's previous book so I bought this one when I found it,

It wasn't quite as good, I think it's because there are too many madmen, It makes sense that there'd be a lot of people going nuts with the societies set up but it also began to feel like a crutch.


I have hopes for some of the characters: Dane and Naomi, I adore everything I've ever read by Rutledge Etheridge, The tactics and strategy of space battles and handtohand or mindtomind combat are all brilliant and thoughtprovoking, The scale is epic. The characters are flawed, beautiful, memorable, One of the most undersung authors of the space opera and military sci fi genres, according to me, While the Silver and Gold Fleets struggle to recover from their Great Battle, the "Grounders" are safe from the plundering of the space clans, and when renegades target a world for destruction, it is up to a Grounder spy to thwart any alliance between the clans.
