Hero tries to push his wife away because he thinks he's not good enough for her, He is injured while in Iraq as a photographer and she comes and brings him home to recover, He is a total jerk trying to make her hate him but she is a very good person, I would have kicked him several times on the cast he had to wear but she was very good, She didn't even pinch him, He finds the Lord with her guidance, No kissing or anything in the book but I did feel their love, Not my normal fare for sure but I do like Linda Goodnight, There are two other books in the series about his brothers who were split up as children, Well done! This is one of the five best series I have ever read! Powerful, heartwarning and stunning do not do it justice, I laughed, cried, and praised God as I read this three book series, Linda Goodnight shines here, absolutely shines! It just shows what God can do when all else seems lost, My goodness, I loved these books, Highly recommended. This book. I cannot say enough good things about it, It hits you right in the heart, Its a beautiful story of brothers being reunited, and not giving up on love, Theres no kinky sex, and normally I like that in a book, This book just didnt need it though, It was filled with emotion, love conquering all, Great read! It took serious injuries from a roadside bomb to bring war photographer Drew Michaels back to his estranged wife, Larissa, His need for adventure had ultimately pushed Larissa toward the warm embrace of the church, . . and away from him. Read it. A good ending to the trilogy, Third and last in this series, this book is about the middle brother, and the one the author led readers to believe was dead, Since there werebooks, I was pretty sure he wasn't, . . especially after I located the third book,

Bookwas just as great and emotional as the first two, The difference in this one was the brother was already married, There is a lot to like about the book, It had a great lesson with Larrissa determined to love her husband and stick with him even as he tried to push her away and demand a divorce because he felt so unworthy of her because of his background, and feared trying to be a dad to kids she wanted.
His spiritual journey was inspiring, and the final reunion of allbrothers was tear inducing for the most unemotional of readers,

This series gives a great look at the tragedies of the foster system, and was based on a situation the author knew of wherebrothers were separated by the foster system.
It actually made me wish I could do something along that line, but it isn't possible,

I did thoroughly enjoy this series, and it was one of the most emotional ones I have read, I knew he was still alive, I need to read this, : Not for me.
