on Broken (Colby Agency, #45)
think I would actually give this book, stars. I thought that the idea was a good one for this series and it seemed to work, It wasn't shoved down your throat that Linc wanted Lori back but as a reader I just couldn't wait to see if it would happen or not, The only reason I didn't give the book a solidwas the ending, I felt kinda let down that there wasn't more action that lead up to the conclusion, Other than that I would recommend this book to others, Broken is interesting mainly because Lincoln Reeses wife and partner has been missing for seven years, His previous partner before her comes to Reese and tells him that he has found his missing, thought to be dead wife, Linc did not believe him but went to check for himself,
In the tiny town of Blossom TN , Mia Grant worked on old houses repairing plaster, As far as she knows she was in an accident seven years ago and her Uncle paid for her to get the best care and recovery, And her Aunt loved her, took care of her and called her butterfly,
When Linc came to meet her at a house she was working on she had an instant attraction to him, But she cannot believe he Aunt and Uncle have lied to her all these years about who she really is, When she finds out the truth what will she do After seven years of agony, Linc Reece was certain he'd found his dead wife alive and living in a tiny Tennessee town.
He was sure Mia Grant was Lori, the wife he'd lost in an undercover case gone bad, Now the operative for the elite team of Equalizers had to prove it…even if he had to kidnap her,

Mia Grant saw the hope in Linc's eyes… but just because she liked vanilla, blues and old houses didn't make her his longlost wife, Nothing about him was familiar, except the sizzle she felt when they touched, But when they discovered Lori's records destroyed and her photos stolen, even Mia knew someone had gone to great lengths to make her forget, And he'd do anything to ensure she never remembered…,

Miniseries: Colby Agency: The New Equalizers After seven years of searching, Linc Reece was certain he'd found his wifea woman believed dead and now living in a tiny Tennessee town.
Mia Grant was Lori, he was certain, the wife he'd lost in an undercover case gone wrong, Now the operative for an elite team known as the Equalizers was prepared to prove it even if he had to kidnap her to do it,

Mia Grant saw the hope reflected in Linc's eyes, but just because she liked old houses, the smell of vanilla, and the blues didn't make her his longlost wife.
He wasn't familiar to her, except maybe the zing she felt when they accidentally touched, But when they discovered Lori's pictures stolen and her medical and dental records destroyed, even Mia had brains enough to understand that someone had gone to great lengths to help her forget everything.
And he'd do anything to ensure she never remembered what was,

Another solid outing for the Colby Agency and the New Equalizers, HILiked it. It was really good, suspense until the end! It's been seven years since Linc Reese lost his wife but the body was never found, Linc spent a couple of years in rehab himself after the explosion on the Yacht they were investigating, His old partner tells him she is alive in Tenn, and her name is Mia not Lori, Can it possible be true and is it worth the pain of starting the hunt again Why doesn't she remember him
This was the first book I've read by Debra Webb, and I was seriously hooked with her writing style.
She definitely knows her suspense,

The story is part of a series The New Equalizers from The Colby Agency, and I did feel a little lost about Slade Keaton since I hadn't read the other novels in the series first.
I was hoping for more of a standalone, but now that I know it's not, I'll just go back and read the other books in the series,

I still rated the book five even with my confusion because Debra Webb really does not how to write a good story, DEBRA WEBB is the USA Today bestselling author of thannovels, including reader favorites the Shades of Death, the Faces of Evil and the Colby Agency series, She is the recipient of the prestigious Romantic Times Career Achievement Award for Romantic Suspense as well as numerous ers Choice Awards, InDebra was honored as the first recipient of the esteemed L, A.
