El punto de drama en esta historia, se relaciona directamente con el hombre que en un principio provocó que Mikayla se encontrara con los hermanos Davidson, Todos se sienten amenazados, y los maridos de Mikayla logran ponerse mucho más protectores de lo normal, sobre todo cuando han estado intentando formar una familia en la tranquilidad de la tierra y de su granja.
Al final, los personajes suben a la cima de la desesperación para enfrentarse a sus problemas y lograr construir una vida en paz,
El final con la vida de los personajes muchos años después del incidente principal de esta historia, nos da un gran vistazo de la vida idílica de los personajes, y cómo su amor ha ido consolidándose a lo largo de los años.

Things are finally getting back to normal, . . well as normal as it can be for a woman with eight handsome and sexy husbands,
When Mikaylas best friend Tracey comes to visit, she is delighted, until she senses this isnt strictly a social call, It seems trouble still looms for Mikayla and for Tracey: the man they testified against, the one who tried to sell them into slavery, has been released, and is determined to eliminate the only two witnesses against him.
Throw in a letter from Peters former fiancée, and Mikaylas attempts to get pregnant, and the tension goes sky high, What other dangers lay in store for the Davidson family before they get their happy ever after
I enjoyed seeing everyone working together to make this relationship work, and was delighted that we get a look into the future with this one.
As always, Mikayla is spirited and sassy, enjoying each of her husbands attentions in their quest to start their family, She is determined to be as independent as someone with eight strong men around her can be, but when the danger arrives, she also understands that
her men need to protect her.
I liked that she understood and was able to rein in her streak of defiance for a while,
As always, Mikaylas men are up to the challenge, and they also have help, as all three of Traceys men are there as well, I liked catching up with everyone, from Traceys pregnancy news, to the surprise news from their old nemesis Jessie, Peters former fiancée, There are more than a few surprises here, and one very dangerous scene that threatens everyones happiness, but Ms Blake was very ingenious in how she tied this up.
I enjoyed catching up with everyone, and enjoyed the creativity Mikaylas husbands used to make sure that no one knew just who the father of the children would be.
In my opinion, this is the hottest of the six books, and it provides a satisfying finale to the adventures of Mikayla and her eight husbands, I recommend this series to anyone who likes hot action, mixed with romance and a touch of danger, But be sure you read them in order, as they are not standalone stories,
It was an okay ending to the series, The bad guy died to fast for me but there was still a nice sweet ending, I am glad that I came across this author looking forward to reading more, I really enjoyed this series of books, At first I thought EIGHT husbands but Mikayla manages just fine, Each book has an HFN ending until the final book where they all get there HEA, There were some humorous momemnts in these books mouse tears, . . hahahahaha still chucklin at that there were some "make me cry" moments and there were some moments when you felt you needed to "jump up and down and scream amp holler".
. but, thru it all there was love a wonderful love betweenbrothers and their sassy, take no prisoners, little on the kinky side wife,
In other words this series has it all, they are scifi books only because the brothers take contracts on other planets we dont really meet any humanoids or aliens and that is made to work also.
There is gentle luvin and their is kinky and their is some mild BDSM but no D/s where the sub is humiliated, etc,
I read this series in/days and I was not ready to say goodbye to the Davidson family, ALL it's members.
Thank you Abby Blake for a great series and this was my first from you so now I am offta buy all your other books, I know I will be absorbed in the characters again, Ms Blake's style pulls you in and takes off with you and your imagination, and all I can say is WHADDA RIDE!!! I am so glad I took it,
