story is a heartwarming story of two lonely people who meet up in the middle of a snowstorm, Jeremy saves Paul's life, takes him home and things are never the same again,
I highly recommend this story Jeremy lost his mom the precious year, mso Christmas is tough for him this year, He is all set for a holiday weekend alone when he saves Paul, a traveler, from being hit by a car, A huge snowstorm arrives, keeping the two together, Both have baggage, Jeremy and his grief Paul and his job and bitch ex wife but the both want more, I questioned why, after verbal abuse for years from Cecily, Paul would bother to even talk to her, She was just nasty, not a lot of action, but sweet, YAY! This is a sweet, romantic and a little bit hot holiday story, Jeremy is still recovering from his mother's death and it's two days before Christmas and a big snow storm is happening, As he's walking home, he sees a car with a flat tire near his house and the man trying to change the tire is nearly hit, but Jeremy pushes him out of the way.
The man, Paul, is on his way home to another city, but he is cold and wet at this point and in a bit of shock so Jeremy invites him in.
Turns out they have a lot in common, Lovely read!.rounding up to.stars.
Sometimes it's hard to say why I really like a book or story, Something about Feels Like Home resonated with me, and it's my favorite of the Deamspinner Advent stories that I've read so far, I was interrupted several times when reading this short novella, and each time I was really annoyed not to be able to continue reading, It's a quiet story, just Paul and Jeremy feeling each other out and getting to know each other, but when I got to the end, I really wished there was more to read.
Jeremy Porter is on his way home just a few days before Christmas when a sexy stranger catches his eye, Paul McClellan is stranded with a flat tire just outside Jeremys apartment when a would be hit and run driver comes dangerously close to ruining Pauls Christmas, After pulling Paul to safety, Jeremy invites him up to his apartment to warm up and wait out the snow before they can safely change the tire,
There is a connection between them that cannot be denied and almost as soon as they are inside and in wrapped up in warm clothes, they are out of them and wrapped up in each other.
They spend the next two days wrapped in a world wind romance getting to know more about each other, They are both single but Jeremy is still mourning the loss of his mother and his exboyfriend while Paul has been divorced for close to six years, but his exwife can still make him feel like a petulant child.
Jeremy is amazed at how quickly he acclimates to having Paul around, thinking being with Paul feels like home, feels natural, And yet, he wont tell Paul, or ask him to stay, When the storm clears and they replace Pauls tire, will he go Or will he stay and make a home with Jeremy,
This was a cute story about finding the one in the oddest of ways, My only complaint would be I wanted the author to decide between adult and YA, Words used were definitely descriptive, but then it was more of a fade to black than actual details of what these guys were doing, I would have rather had one, or the other, instead of teetering between the two, My first audible with Michael Stellman and Id listen to him again, he held his own with voice changes and had the ability to carry the story with his voice.
If you are looking for something short and festive for the season, give this one a go,
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review through sitelink wordpress. com
This was such a feelgood story, It starts off with a 'nerd' saving someone who is physically stronger, and ends with them both so wrapped up in each other that they can't stay away, There's heroism, angst, and just the right amount of smut to keep you warm, Perfect for a quick holiday read! Even though it's June ½ Good, worth a reread,.stars
Sweet, but has a little steam, Easy read. Overall book

Holiday Reads are usually my goto thing when I need fluffy and sweet, I skip most all logic and just go with the flow,
This one didnt disappoint,
. This one could have been stupid but Rowan McAllister made some smart choices, Yes, I would have loved more and deeper depth but the story worked,.
could have been a really cute story, but unfortunately it didn't quite make it there, maybe if it had been longer, . . This is a nice, quiet and very romantic story, Feeling like home is what both the guys experience as they get to know each other after a totally accidental encounter, They both have a burden to carry, but once they get together, the others presence helps each lighten the load, What little tension there is comes from each of them mens emotions as they struggle with admitting how attracted they are to each other despite the short time theyve known each other.
Jeremy thinks he is a nerd, but this is more due to what his idiotic exboyfriend has told him than because it is true, Hes also still suffering from losing his mother to whom hed been very close, He is so lonely it hurt just reading about it, Meeting Paul is definitely the best thing that has happened to him in a long time, and he cannot believe his luck at first,
Paul is a great guy, goal oriented, a workaholic and hes been told he is incapable of having a normal relationship by is stupid exwife, To his surprise, he hits it off really well with Jeremy, and it takes him a while to convince himself hes not dreaming,
If you like peaceful stories that focus on the emotional side of a relationship, want to lean back and enjoy how two men meet and hit it off almost as if caused by a Christmas miracle, and appreciate two guys exploring each others personalities and finding out what the other likes, this story might be for you.
NOTE: This book was provided by Dreamspinner Press for the purpose of a review on sitelinkQueer Magazine Online I enjoyed this one, It was cute and the ending was so sweet, Jeremy is still grieving over his mother's death the previous year and Paul is a lonesome businessman who got a flat tired on his way home, They both hit it off right away, I did like their story although at times I felt like the book dragged, I enjoyed the characters, though, and how they could form a relationship in such a short time, Paul's exwife annoyed the shit out of me, though, Talk about a bitch. Thankfully she's not actually in it LOL,Stars
Sweet and hot, Like a good cup of cocoa, Michael Stellman really did a good job with the narration and helped bump the rating up a bit, I felt it was hard to believe that the MC's would fall in love with each other withing two days of meeting, I do believe in love at first sight but the way Jeremy and Paul met kind of made me weary, I'm not so sure I would have invited a total stranger into my home to stay even after such a traumatic incident,
Barring that the story wasn't all that bad, It had its sweet moment, The start was interesting, but somehow this couple didn't fit together, Everything developed simply to fast and to unrealistic, I didn't feel the chemistry between, Jeremy and Paul, sure there attraction, but that was all, I couldn't connect to this story, Onlyand already just WTF!
Sadly even with all that this is still better than most released by DSP so far Paul is coming home for xmas nearly gets hit, Jeremy see him leads him a hand and home to get warm, short amount they spend together is like a lifetime they feel like home just right.
Jeremy is sad this Christmas because its his first without his mother, who was a friend too, He ends up helping Paul by saving him from being run over, then gives him shelter during the storm, They end up celebrating a “preChristmas” and making good use of the time by learning about each other both emotionally and physically,
They discover they have a pretty intense connection and when the snow clears they decide to make a go of a relationship, even though it might take some extra work.
I enjoyed the emotion and the smexy times in this story and felt that, by the end, the couple had a good chance of making it go.
Since it is a shortstory, we didnt get a lot of time to get to know them, but what we did see looks promising,
Michael Stellman did a nice job with the narration, letting the story tell itself with a style that is easy to listen to,
Overall Impression:
I really liked it

This short story has a wonderful "formula" of chance encounter and chemistry, Even though both are strangers but the comfort pouring from their interaction simply by talking and washing dishes and eating dinner, . . so homey! is so believeable, Considering that Paul lives one hour away from Jeremy and the story only spans for a couple of days, I desperately want them to work out their new relationship.

I liked this, but I wish they talked more, But, I was left wondering "what happens now"
I liked how comfortable Paul and Jeremy were together, "When it's right, you'll know", Sweet I really liked this short holiday story, Jeremy has lost his mother and boyfriend broke up with him shortly after, He'll be spending his first Christmas alone, Paul's had one crasptastic day, ending with almost being run over while changing a tire in the snow, Jeremy's quick actions and an offer to come home to warm up brings the start something better for both of their lives, My favorite part is Paul's decision when he arrives home, While this ends with a HFN, you know that they've found something wonderful,
Adult read Very sweet and cuddly story, A pretty standard Christmas short, Two guys meet up fall in lust have sex then decide lust is love, All indays.
Maybe I've OD'd on Christmas shorts but this one left me feeling a little Bah Humbugish,
On OK story but nothing to make it stand out from the rest,.stars. Sweet m/m romance about two guys who end up spending a couple of days together because of a snowstorm, Editing inconsistencies kept annoying me and pulling me out of the story, .
