an inspiring and comforting book this is, I want to share it with the world! Intriguing read!
It must have been at leastdecades ago when I finished an Enid Blyton novel in one day.
Haha. I finished this indays! Am impressed with the writing, An autobiography of a military woman turned psychic medium, this book is a quick read with a matteroffact tone, Although the topic seems incredulous, I believe her, I am definitely NOT a fan of poetry, so those parts were a bit tedious for me, Not quite sure I believe in all of this, The writing style was a bit amateurish editing could have been better, Intriguing topic. Suzanne Giesemann with her very practical and down to Earth background in high U, S. Naval and Governmental office presents a compelling account of how she underwent a transformation from being a skeptic over the possibilities of ongoing spiritual existence after bodydeath to becoming a popular psychicMedium and author.
Moving from her experiences of her step daughter Susan sending signs of her continuing spiritual existence and connection with Suzanne, her tentative first steps toward the Spiritualist communities to having Medium's providing readings.
This all affirmed her growing acceptance of the greater reality and the possibilities that we do indeed continue after bodydeath,
Going on to open to and develop her own psychic perceptual abilities, including training at the Arthur Findlay College of Spiritualism and psychic sciences at Stansted Hall England, where she enjoyed a very supportive development of her new skills by Mavis Pittilla, Suzanne grew in her confidence and ability.
From this new position of belief, faith and trust in the ongoing concourse between those in spirit and those in the physical, Suzanne as well as giving messages and readings from those now in spirit, she also began to channel initially hundreds of poems and later prose from her spirit guides and later form a consciousness collective of guides known as Sanaya.
Overall the messages of belief in our spiritual existence, trust that all will be ultimately well even if things may not appear to be so as we undergo our life's challenges including those of losing loved ones in death and of our loved ones continuing to reach us after bodydeath, shine out from this wonderful book.
Many years ago I never would have dreamt of reading a book about mediumship, let alone think I would be impressed by it, But after hearing Suzanne Giesemann speak and learning about her personal journey and her integrity, I eagerly purchased "Messages of Hope" along with "Wolf's Message" and "Still Right Here".
All the books are impressive, For readers unfamiliar with Suzanne Giesemann, I do recommend beginning with "Messages of Hope" because it starts at the beginning,
Suzanne had an impressive career as a former U, S. Navy Commander and aide to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff during/, She also earned a Master's Degree in National Security Affairs and she taught political science at the U, S. Naval Academy. Her credentials are impeccable. She's a logical thinker and skeptical about believing anything without overwhelming evidence, As such, she never dreamt that one day she would be a respected medium, traveling worldwide to speak to huge audiences,
This book describes her journey to this new calling in her life sparked by a tragedy causing the physical death of her beloved stepdaughter, Susan, It is told with honesty and humility, reflecting all of her own selfdoubts along the way, I have deep respect for this woman, I will read "Messages of Hope" again and again, I highly recommend this book, Are there dimensions of existence beyond the material world If so, can we connect with loved ones who have passed, and with higher levels of consciousness than our own Messages of Hope is the pageturning story of a former skeptic who has found the answers to these questions and more through evidential communication with the unseen realms.
When Commander Suzanne Giesemann, former U, S Navy commanding officer and aide to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, walked the halls of the Pentagon and flew on Air Force One, she did everything by the book.
A personal witness to the horrors of/, she saw things in black and white, with little time for spiritual seeking, Never did she expect that a personal family tragedy would propel her on a mystical journey that would turn her life's path in a most unexpected direction,
Follow Suzannenow a practicing psychicmediumas she moves from doubt and disbelief to full faith and trust in a reality beyond the physical senses, Laced with spiritinspired poetry and compelling answers to many of life's big questions, Suzanne's remarkable story will leave readers with the comforting and credible message that this life is not all there is.
This book was really different from other books written by mediums, This book was not about the messages she received the loved ones of others, although there are instances of that in here, It is about how and why she, the author herself, became a medium, A beautiful story, written with love, which keeps unfolding and growing even when you think there is no more to say, If you have an interest in metaphysics or mediumship, I highly recommend this book! I was given this book from a parent of one of my students at the end of the school year.
She simply said "I want you to have this I think you need it more that I do, I think it will help you to find peace, " I finally picked it up to read and so glad that I did,
"Embrace your loved ones with your heart
Even though they have moved on,
You'll see them once again, please know,
For they are not forever gone,
Just from your sight for now removed,
But much aware they are of you,
So walk this day with lighter steps
For they walk with you, too, " I enjoyed this book
This book gave me hope after my mother died, It eased a bit of the excruciating emptiness I have been experiencing, Absolutely outstanding book! This was a very interesting read about a medium, I've determined that I must now go to the Arthur Findlay School of Psychic Sciences in London, just like the author, Cause I want to be like her, Fascinating! It is comforting to know that this life is not the end, I have a close friend that had a private reading with Suzanne, My friend does not know Suzanne, Suzanne revealed evidentiary facts that would have been impossible for her to find out about my friend's situation, I truly believe. My first book on mediumship such a great memoir! Amazing Proof of Spiritual Blessings
I needed to get confirmation of the spiritual blessings of hope that I have known and this book gave me that verification.
