Unlock The Secrets Of Adoption Wisdom: A Guide To The Issues And Feelings Of Adoption Scripted By Marlou Russell File Format Publication Copy
that good of a book, very one dimensional, Full of
interesting quotes but not much substance provided by the "author", This is a good choice for whoever is involved or interested in adoption, The book is well polished, is an easy read well divided into small sections and gives a nice perspective on different aspects of adoption, some aspects that are sometimes overlooked.
Yet, I believe that it was slightly biased I think the text did not take a fair position towards the adoptive parents, The cover of this book, and the trope it represents, irritates me, In a perfect world adoption wouldn't be nessesary but we don't live in a perfect world, This book was about the many issues about adoption the pros and cons.
Many I remember were about the cons and the sad issues surrounding people wanting to know who they are biologically, spiritually and where they belong in the imperfect realm of adoption.
To be honest, this one just made me sad when reading it, I liked it, and it was interesting, but it really just dampened the mood, I get it though because the fundamentals of adoption are super sad, but still, it wasn't enjoyable, I really don't know how to rate this book, I found it to be one of those books that had some really good stuff and other things were, in my opinion, just odd, However, it was written well, ADOPTION WISDOM offers insight and understanding of adoptees, birth parents, and adoptive parents, Includes chapters on Adoption Awareness, Basic Truths of Adoption, Search and Reunion, and an Ideal Adoption, ADOPTION WISDOM is a book for anyone who wants to kinow more about the lifelong impact of adoption, .
