Acquire Today Just A Little Crush (Just A Little, #1) Penned By Tracie Puckett Issued As Pamphlet

aburrida en el tren y me apetecía leer algo cortito y entretenido y vale que son poco más depáginas pero WTF.
El estilo era pésimo, el romance cutre, el drama tonto, la protagonista más aún, . . etc. First of all, look at this cover, This is so dumb looking! Who designed this dreck

Secondly, wasn't she supposed to have this job shadowing thing approved by the school Cause she didn't.
The very next day, she's off, driving around with a random police officer, Plot hole!

Add that to shitty writing, an ass of a male lead, a whiny brat for a female lead, the kinda creepy inappropriate of the cop hitting on the under age chick I don't care if she's, is still underage amp his bosses kid.
Not cool! amp the totally unrealisticness of something that it is supposed to be contemporary fiction, amp you get one fucking star.

Really. This budding, instalove riddle novella is kinda creepy, This is supposed to be a professional situation to learn about her future amp all these two seem to care about is making goo goo eyes at each other.
Is this supposed to be cute Was that scene where she went on and on about her stupid infatuation supposed to be funny

Cause it wasn't.
It was painfully unfunny.

Not to mention stupid,

Maybe it's just that I'm the wrong reader for this, since I have ZERO interest in romance, It was free so I gave it a go but I like to things know a good story when I read it, despite the genre.

"Just a little crush" was NOT it,

amp Seriously. What kind of good police officers let s teenager drive around on duty with a cop Isn't it dangerous! What if she got hurt!

I'm sure there are laws against this shit.

Ugh. My brain hurts.

Not recommended.

To anyone. Ever. Oh, gosh, can they GET any worse!

First, this wasn't a book, It wasn't even a novelette, It was about the length of a book report, only with the ending cut off, I swear, it was eighteen pages, tops, Not worth publishing.

Second, if a cop shoots himself in the foot and loses a toe, he is no longer going to be a patrolman.
Because losing a big toe is a BIG deal, You can't run or even walk properly without a big toe, So Luke wouldn't be a cop, The story is already fatally flawed,

Thirdly, no chief of police is going to put aish year old cop in a car with a seventeen year old girl alone, all day.
It just isn't going to happen,

Fourth PAINFUL. Every scene is painful. Luke is a total asshole to her, No, really. TOTAL. Her understanding cousin isn't at ALL understanding, And as for Julie, she's just another completely uninteresting biotch, The characters are shallow, mean, and completely undeveloped,

As for the writing, the author doesn't describe ANYTHING, Not the town, not the cop car, not the emotions, They say Julie isn't how she used to be, but nobody knows what that was or what she is, now, because it's never fleshed out.
Not even a little.

Don't bother with this, It's horrible. It's actually.stars.

I got this as a freebie from amazon so thought I would check it out, I did. I tried, and I'm kind of glad I did, but I didn't like it as much as I thought I would though I didn't hate it, I definitely didn't like it.
Took me less than an hour to read, and yes it's a quick read but I just couldn't connect to the characters the heroine, in the first place.
The heroine left no impression on me, None! I don't know if I like her, or dislike her, Weird really!
I don't know if this series gets any better, but to be honest with you guys, I actually don't care.
And yeah, I'm pretty sure I won't be checking the rest of the stories in the series, Not my cup of tea, really,

Just a little crush
Tracie Puckett
Book review
By Madison Brunton

Genre
The genre of this novel, is Romance it's about how a girl Julie has a crush on a boyLuke.
The fact that there is also a mixture of other feelings: Betrayal, hope, friendship etc really helps to elevate the mood and love throughout the story.

Audience
I believe the target audience of this book is young teenagers agesbecause the language that is shown in the book isn't very mature and the vocabulary is limited.
To me this book could of had a bit more thought put into it, It also could of 'show not tell' better because I was getting bored with the story,

Language
The language in this book is using the technique of colloquial language because the writing is very informal and the book was worded the way that I would usual speak.

Characters
Julie: High school senior who doesn't know what she wants to do when it's time for community work service, and she doesn't know what she wants to do with her life.
She has blue coloured eyes, blonde hair and she is a seventeen year old orphan,
Luke: A policeman who tries to help out Julie with her Community Work Service, Luke has a shocking past also like Julie, Will Luke and Julie have just a little crush
Matt: Julie's cousin, he knows what he wants in life to be a chef.
Julie and Matt live together because Julie's parents are dead, Matt is the senior class hottie and all the girls love him, He is also the worlds best cousin because he always sticks by you and never betrays you,
Uncle Charlie: Matt's Dad, Julie's Uncle, The head of the Oaktown Police Office, He convinces Julie to do her community work service at the Police Station, The whole town know Charlie for what a great man he is,

Author
Tracie Puckett is a fun, person who enjoys sleeping, reading and napping she is also a stage actress and is the author of the 'just a little' series, some of the books that she has written include Just A Little Crush released in, the new girland many more.
The genre that she enjoys is Romance, contemporary and young adult,

Theme
The theme of this book would definitely be love, Because Luke and Julie the two main characters, fall in love and the book is called 'Just A Little Crush', The theme could also be friendship because in the story friendship is a major thing that is shown, Everyone is also linked in the story through friendship,

Short version of the story,
Julie and Matt walk out of school talking about the assignment that they have to do Community Work Service, Matt knows exactly what he'll do, Julie isn't so sure though.

As they open the doors into the house Uncle Charlie is there waiting, they tell him about the Assignment Julie tells him how she doesn't know what she'll do.
Uncle Charlie then offers to help her by letting her do her experience at the Police station, Julie finally takes up the offer,
While working at the station she is partnered up with someone called Luke By the looks of the cover I thought it was going to be a typical girly girl high school crush with those idioticpushoverjock types meets nicenaivenerdgirl.
But it wasn't. It was actually quiet nice, Mind you the book is short, once you read it, it would leave you with unanswered questions, . . so obviously you'll wanna read the Partandandseries but in the first book, . .

Miss Puckett the author would have you gripped to the book until she leaves you high and dry wanting more.
. . to answer your burning questions but don't give me wrong that's a good thing but kinda frustrating especially if your broke and you can't by another ebook until you get a summer job.
lol. story of my life.

This year though, the high school has implemented to get the students thinking a senior year project where they have to spendhours in a job field of their choice.

Stuck, her Uncle Charlie suggests the police station, and needing the hours she reluctantly agrees, It is here though that Julie will meet Trigger aka Lucas, A guy who will slowly worm his way into her heart starting with BookJust a Little Crush, What I loved about this book was that it was a quick read and one you didn't have to think about too deeply which is great when you are looking for a book to just hit that spot.
Drama, risas y entretenimiento. Esta corto pero me gustó, Amé a Luke, Lucas, no sé, . . Tiene esa cosa que lo hace distinto y que hace que lo ames, year old Julie lives with her Uncle Charlie who happens to be Oakland's Chief of Police and cousin Matt, who happens to very handsome and very popular in school.
Girls hate Julie because not only is Matt her cousin, he is her best friend,

Julie and Matt find out that they have a senior project where they have to job shadow someone forhours and write a report about it.
This does NOT make Julie happy since she has NO idea what she wants to do in life especially after high school.

Uncle Charlie suggests that she do her job shadowing down at the police station, Julie thinks this is great because she can spend her house behind a desk doing paperwork, Little does she know that Uncle Charlie sends her out on patrol with Officer Luke, who happens to be young, handsome, and downright stubborn.
Luke makes Julie sit in the backseat of the patrol car until she "earns" her rights to sit up front, Luke feels that Julie is not taking his job seriously and thinks this is all one big joke and she is just a spoiled brat.
Little does Luke know he is wrong, They have more in common than he thinks,

While Julie and Luke butt heads every time there at the wheel together, something is growing and something is stirring.
Does Luke like Julie has this relationship developed into something more than just a little crush
