on Andy Also

and Andy are back in this beginning reader comic book, Preston annoys Andy by changing his name to Andy too, then changing it back, He also makes quite a lot of noise with the help of the other animals and gets Andy into a heap of trouble by testing his strengths and tricking him into insulting rabbits.

Funny and a great book for readers moving from Toon Books, but who aren't quite ready for Babymouse etc.
Recommended for grades. OCTOh my goodness! This is adorable! Andy the alligator and Preston, a coyote pup, are buddies with very different personalities.
Andy is obviously much older, quite crabby, and likes his peace and quiet, Preston on the otherhand is jovial, full of fun, energetic and loves to tease, Needless to say Preston gets on Andy's nerves quite often and yet being friends they manage to get through.
Three separate little stories are told here, all in the comic book format with speech bubbles, with slight segues to seamlessly pass one story onto another.
In the first Preston decides his name shall be Andy, also, and hilarity ensues as all their friends take to it but the real Andy has an identity crises.
Next, Preston starts making a racket by banging on a pan when Andy is trying to sleep then all his friends join in and the final story could just as likely be called the attack of the booger brain bunnies.
Hilarious! I loved it and the art is gorgeously cute but in a sort of disproportional, ugly, cute kind of way.
"Whether readers are the 'Preston' or 'Andy' in their own friendships, they'll find this duo's interactions irresistible, "Publishers Weekly, starred review for Okay, Andy!

Two Andys Twice the Fun!

Andy and Preston are back for a brandnew nutty adventureonly this time there are two of them! Well, not two Prestons.
Because Preston has decided that from now on, he is also going to be called Andy, Guess who doesnt like this, AT ALL As Andy tries to convince Andy that he should be the only Andy, the buddies share noisy fun, talk about rabbits, and the confusing arrival of Dr.
Turkeyfeet A delightful beginner graphic novel, Simple text and fun illustrations, A clamorous, colorful, delectably confusing cartoon reader, Monty K. Very cute early reader about an Alligator named Andy and a Coyote possibly named Preston who wants to be called Andy.
Kids who like the Elephant and Piggie books will also enjoy these fr their humor and word bubble text.
The book is divided into three chapters, but each chapter is a stand alone story though they reference earlier stories on occasion making it a good intro to reading chapter books.
Great for girls and boys ages, Funny! See my full review here: sitelink blogspot. com/

In this short chapter book/graphic novel adventure, Preston and Andy have an identity crisis of sorts.
Preston insists on being called Andy which angers the original Andy who then somehow becomes Doctor Turkeyfeet, which in turn confuses the original Doctor Turkeyfeet.
In the next chapter, the animals strike up a band much to the dismay of Andy, the original.
Finally, Preston, once again Preston, tricks Andy into a foot race withinsulted bunnies, If it all sounds a little too strange, that's because it is, and young readers will love every word!

megan summer reading, children's book, chapter book, series, a jump into chapter book, alligator, wolves, humor, friendship, first grade, second grade I am in love with Andy and Preston! I love this edition to early readers.
Andy and Preston have such great personalities, this book is filled with fun and humor, to come afterAndy Also Reminiscent of Willems' Elephant and Piggie books with simpler stories and maybe not as much fun to read out loud I'm just guessing, I read this and Okay, Andy on my break to myself.
A quick graphic chapter book that is perfect for reluctant readers trying to bridge the gap between picture and chapter books.
The book ispages but reads like a comic rather than traditional chapter book, Andy and Preston are hilarious in their friendship and hijinks, This volume containsadventures. My favorite part was the pretitle page character intro comic, The pictures are simple but colorful and match the easy vocabulary and brief text in each frame, Amazing book for young kids Fun, fun, fun! More of a beginning graphic novel than beginning chapter book, similar to the humor of Elephant and Piggie.
This was a slightly hilarious GN brought to us by the same author that brought us the Flying Beaver Brothers series.
Trust me, the FBB series is better,

This story centers aroundanimal friends, whose main idea of being funny is changing names to confuse people.
for this emergent reader graphic novel A book in the Jump into Chapters series which I am loving!.
This one, and the other book about Andy both made me and G giggle out loud multiple times.
Even the end papers different on both front and back were funny, There's lots of opportunity for dramatic reading and there were many requests for repeat performances, I'm really hoping there'll be more than two books about these two wacky characters, I love these beginning reader graphic novels, The longsuffering Andy puts up with so much! This book could be called “Everyone Annoy Andy” instead of “Andy Also.
” As an adult, it got tiresome, but I know kids will love this book, Its good for fans of Elephant and Piggie! Fun and

funny graphicstyle reader, While not quite rising to the level of Elephant and Piggie or Bink and Gollie, this funny snapshot of a friendship will appeal to fans of either.
