Great story line and I really cared about these characters, The H's family left a lot to be desired! The h's mother and sister were very protective but also seemed to not trust that she would be able to deal with her own choices.
The relationship between the H and h had obviously changed a lot recently which culminated in their separation, For the H, developing amnesia was one of the most positive things that could have happened to him, Perhaps it was fate that showed him what his life was really like and, without his denial, demonstrated that he had lost everything, He saw more clearly with amnesia than he did with his memories, The h was very cautious, very cautious, It was interesting that she responded to the H's needs and took time off work to assist him with his new reality, It also seemed that she was getting glimpses of themselves when their relationship was good, Stars

This was such an unexpected but great story, If there was an epilogue and closure with his family this would be a solidsyar read, I will look for more books by this author,.Reread marriage in trouble story! :D I got bored, The Plot: After nearlyyears together, Stefan and Claire were over, they had even been separated formonths already, . . when Stefan woke up on a park bench not knowing his name, what city he was in or who he was,

Claire swears she has moved on, and it's not like she owes Stefan anything he left her, not the other way around but she can't turn her back on him when she learns what has happened to him, so she takes him in and tries to help him get readjusted to life.

And she's surprised to find that this new, amnesic Stefan resembles the guy she fell in love with years before a lot more than he resembles the starched up one that left her as they try to make their way around his memory loss and the painful memories she just can't forget.

First Date: Oh, I love me some amnesia plot!! I know these are totes unrealistic but I LOVE a good Amnesia book, A bit sparse on the details of what happened but otherwise taking off to a good speed,

Second Date: Some mysteries are hinted at, I think I'm pretty sure that I know what it is but this is entertaining me so much, I like seeing the two sides of Stefan, His parents suck though. I do love Claire's family, but it's kind of weird she doesn't seem to have any friends,

Third Date: happy sigh Oh, that was sweet, I liked the ending, though it was still a bit sparse on the details,

Relationship Status: Just Friends, but that's a good thing,
I'm not exactly sur if Forget Me Not is the kind of book that rocks your world, but it totally made me relax, I liked Claire and Stefan well enough, and I loved the whole amnesia thing and how they had to work around their issues, That was fun.

It took me aboutorhours to read the whole book, and by the end I was feeling happy and relaxed, That's the kind of book this is, Forget Me Not is a well written novel with conflict from page one, Stefan wakes not knowing who or where he is, After going to the police and being tested at the hospital he is released with a full bill of health, except he has amnesia, The only person who is available to show him around Sydney and introduce him to his life is his estranged wife, Claire,
The story unfolds bit by bit with hints about their previous relationship and something that caused the breakup which made me want to keep reading until I found out what it was.
There is so much emotion on both sides: Stefan is frustrated he can't remember anything and Claire wants to enjoy this 'new' Stefan who is so like the man she fell in love with but is scared he will leave as soon as he gets his memory back.

It's such a heartstringtugging story that I read it in a single day,
I'll definitely be looking up more of Nina's books, Stefan's amnesia feels genuine. You understand his frustration. But as a reader, it also works to draw you into the heart of learning and understanding his and Claire's marriage, and how it fell apart, How it broke.

"Forget Me Not" is intensely emotional, though never melodramatic, The characters are believable, as are their responses, Sydney makes a wonderful backdrop, and I enjoyed how it was described and experienced, I thought this story was absolutely amazing, First of, I thought it was beautifully written, This was my first book by this author but it will most certainly not be my last, It was so well written, I could not put it down, I read a lot, but it's not very often that a story grips me the way this story did, I could not wait to find out where this went,

My heart literally hurt every step of the way, I've read quite a few stories in recent months where a main character suffers from amnesia, but this was such an original take on it, I loved the complexity of the characters, the dynamic between them, the angst and drama and romance, I loved it all.

I think I loved this story so much because it was so far from predictable, I went through such an array of emotions, In one respect, I hoped that Stefan's memories never came back, that Claire would have a second chance with this man who she loved, and he'd be all the wonderful things that the old, preamnesia Stefan was not.
But I'd immediately change my mind because I loved for the closure of finding out why the old Stefan really left Claire to begin with, and I wanted her to find peace with both sides of Stefan, I wanted the old Stefan to somehow atone for his abandonment of Claire.
The entire way through this story, I was riddled with fear, with Claire's same fear, that with his memories would come a second round of heated fights and a very unhappy ending.
I felt all of her hopes, her fears, his longing to remember, . . all of it.

This is an amazing read, . . a new personal favorite. Beautifully written. Refreshing and heartbreaking. And just plain perfect! I read this one a long while back and decided to reread, Mystar has not changed, I liked it but missed opportunities for really good or great,

H's family is horrible the reason for H moving out and not contacting h formonths after miscarriage was somewhat lame, He did not contact her at all and continued in his highpowered career, hanging with coworkers, etc, While his new abode is minimalist with no personality it did not impress me that this is the sign he missed her and considered returning to her, Be back shortly with a full review,

See more at sitelink com. Claire and Stefans marriage was over, Theyd been estranged for six months, living in separate apartments, leading separate lives, Until an unknown accident leaves Stefan with no memory of who he is, what he wants, and the wife he left behind,

If you are looking for a quick read with a happy ending then Forget Me Not fills the bill, It is written as a typical "Harlequinstyle" romance where the man and woman are torn apart by misunderstanding and unspoken feelings but later find their happily ever after,

For me this style of book makes a great "palate cleanser" after I have read too many highly dramatic and angstdriven romance novels and need to tone things down with a guaranteed happy ending and just enough drama to keep me entertained.
Yes!

I love second chance books, They've been separated formonths, and his character wakes one morning to find that he doesn't know who he is, or where he is, She's still his wife, and steps in to help him, They loved each other passionately, until he didn't, and left her,
He gets to see what kind of man he was, with an unbiased eye, She gets to see the man he was before things started to go bad, She still lives him, he's falling in love with her,
My only criticism is the ending seems rushed, needing more information and an epilogue! This is a tough one, The best reason I could give to sum up why is that this book read like Part, except it wasn't, It was like coming in after all the the story had been told and then being expected to understand the aftermath, It felt like it was assumed we knew and cared about Claire and Stefan and what led to the couple being separated in the first place, All there was to go on were cryptic and maddening clues that they had once been very happy and then Stefan became an arsehole, Flashbacks can be overdone but would REALLY have helped this story immensely, It's hard to connect to the characters or feel invested in their story when the writer leaves out the most vital parts,
To me, the story felt shallow and very sterile, Halfway in I began skipping ahead to find something meaningful that would connect me, but it just wasn't there, Very frustrating.

Stefan was the better fleshedout of the characters, while Claire was inconsistent and too back and forth, Quite honestly, I wanted to slap her, She hasn't seen or spoken to him inmonths and wants nothing to do with him, but takes him in when he's inexplicably left with amnesia, She doesn't want him in her home but gets upset when he doesn't make a move on her, He makes a move and she gets upset and flees, She can never be with him again but spends the whole night having sex and dreaming of a future while he makes breakfast,
She's impossibly erratic and honestly not very likeable in the first place,

The 'story' of their demise and the reason for Stefan's memory loss are crammed into the lastof the book and by then I so couldn't give a shite.
I felt cheated on this one, It could have been spectacular but was poorly executed, It didn't even end well, but rather abruptly and with a lot of glaring loose threads, For example, neither character's family wanted them together, Significant scenes were devoted to show that, Claire's mother and sister cautioned her not to fall for him again and of course she wasn't going to do that, she was just helping him, Whatevs. Stefan's parents were OTT caricatures of controlling parents who hated Claire and thought her a gold digger, The groundwork was laid for confrontation with the antagonists, but then the book ended and leaves all the conflicts unresolved, The best choice would have been to never introduce them in the first place,

This writer clearly bit off more than she could chew, It was a great premise but it was obvious she had no idea how to make it work and then rushed to end it, Too bad, because as I stated previously this book had so much potential, It wasn't badly written, it just badly missed the mark, Well the book is okay, Not bad. The ending was kinda sweet actually :, There my super super short review This starts with the hero waking up on a park bench not remembering anything, He had been robbed and mugged and he didn't know who he was, Clare his estranged wife was notified and she comes

to pick him up, They had been separated for six months, He had his own place and they lived apart, She loved him but he had hurt her terribly by asking for a divorce, She had suffered a miscarriage and was grieving not only the loss of her marriage but also a child, You don't know until the last two chapters basically why he left, There was a woman he worked with that I worried he was sleeping with but thank goodness he wasn't, He actually really loved his wife but his grief caused him to push her away and he buried himself in work, I liked how he didn't like the people he worked with after his head injury, He saw their superficiality and coldness, Same thing with his family, It was eye opening to him, I loved that he had bought her a teddy bear the day he was hurt and was heading back to her, It was a good book, I loved that he was faithful and I am glad they got their HEA!,
