is a great story! Paisley is such an intriguing character and it's a great ride watching her navigate the twists and turns of her attempts to start a new life.
A fun read!! A pretty generic concept but It was executed in a very original way! I liked how our main couple met and how their stories developed together.


I really liked Sterling's backstory, it was very different from the stories men usually get in these kinds of books and it added some interesting drama between our main couple.


A very quick read, nothing much really happens though and it does end very abruptly I would have liked a few more chapters postStan to see if he got in trouble with the law etc and how Sterling and Paisley were once the threat was gone.


A good quick read through, Paisley and Sterling, interesting names, great couple, They meet while Sterling is out camping and Paisley is running away from her abusive husband, She gets kicked by a deer and Sterling, a therapist specializing in raising money for battered women Quite the coincidence, nurses her back to health.
They both have a lot of issues, the kinds that make them perfect for each other, I liked Paisley, and although she was obstinant it wasnt in an annoying way that detracted from her likability, I liked what Paisley liked about Sterling, that he wasnt perfect and had his own messed up background, Overall, some good action, pretty decent romance andpeople healing, The only thing that detracted from the story for me were some editing errors and missing words that had me rereading sentences to figure out what was supposed to be said.

Her Knight in Shining Armour by Robyn Rychards is an emotionally compelling story about a woman, Paisley Vitale, who has suffered from various forms of abuse and who believes she can never find happiness and a man, Sterling James, who has faced pain head on in the past and is impervious when it comes to women.
But that is until he meets Paisley and everything changes This complex story makes you root for the main characters from page one.
What Paisley and Sterling faced with their personal relationships is so raw and so painful, I think the author did a commendable job adding layers upon layers of emotions into this heartwrenching read, For me, the book is a blend of raw human feelings overcome with the power of love, Love always wins as it has in this book!

This book was a lot of fun! I enjoy reading books about abused women starting over ever since I watched Sleeping with the Enemy as a teenagerit's so empowering watching them taking back their power and freedom.
And learning how to trust and love again, In a way this was a very simplistic story, It was short and stuck to the surface of things, it didn't go super deep into the emotional complexity of the situation, but it was still a very enjoyable read.
It made a potentially dark subject into a light romantic read, I loved the hero and lost myself in the romance for an enjoyable afternoon,.stars, but why not round up to

I loved the setting and the budding romance between Sterling and Paisley, This was my first read by this author but I would definitely be buying her future books,

Whilst running from her abusive exhusband Paisley has one thought and one thought only, get as far away as possible, start a new life and pray the disgusting piece of human parasite that is her ex never finds her again.


But whilst running she ends up facing more than one complication, The first is being temporarily unable to keep moving and secondly there is the very attractive I can tempt you with my eyes into doing anything I want Sterling who is dead set on making sure she gets all the help he can offer.


The catch Sterling is a Psychiatrist and knows just what to say and do with woman in Paisley's situation.
But Paisley has sworn no man will ever have power over her again and she does her utmost best to block out any and all physical and mental help Sterling tries to give her, that is until her ex shows up with guns blazing!

I truly enjoyed this read, there was the right amount of gripping suspense and angst to keep me turning the pages.
And the right balance of fear turning to romance and protectiveness to make my heart melt,

The character of Paisley was very interesting, the author let me into the mind of an abused woman and the various decisions she makes.
Some yes were very " What was she thinking" and others where " That's it woman fight!"

With the what was she thinking moments the author got me thinking about just why some woman stick around with men who so badly abuse them, and I realized that for us on the outside it would make no sense at all, but for the women who have to suffer these despicable acts of violence there is always something holding them back, fear, lack of love and trust, something from the past no matter there is something.


And thus instead of judging we need to try and remember there is a deeper meaning in their actions.
Through this character the author truly showed me that abused woman have their own set of issues and for some it's just never that easy to walk away.


The character of Sterling was one that certainly made me sit upright and take double notice, He has his own set of issues and much like most Psychiatrists they never think another in their line of work can fix them, but his issues that keeps him from living a normal sexy rich playboy lifestyle had me stop and think for a almost a full minute before realizing it could totally happen and be very real and true, and thus does not make his actions or lack there of too surprising as I am sure it will be for some readers.
Everyone has an issue they hold onto until a situation either forces them to deal with it head on or someone points out that they need to follow their own advise.


The backdrop settings were well described, characters were well developed and the author really dug deep with her characters letting me in on every thought and thus I could fully connect with them and really zero in on their emotions.


I am taking away a message of fear holds most of us back from taking a chance, Yes the same might happen again but chances are it won't and if you simply let the chance slip simply because of your fear you will never know if you let your one and only chance at happiness go.


I highly recommend this read for fans of twists and turns real life situations romance reads, Paisley was a true heroine when it counted and Sterling a real life make my knees go weak hero! Passionate and
heartstoppingly emotional and oh so sexy!

" He's her knight in shining armor but she's the one about to rescue him" This book was enjoyable, but some of the stuff was frustrating, and I just didn't buy it.
Even though I didn't buy the romance, I still found myself rooting for Sterling and Paisley and the downfall of Stan.

This book was provided to me by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review, Domestic abuse is a difficult subject to write about and I can respect the author for her efforts, Paisley is trying to escape her abusive ex husband and stubbles upon Sterling, her Knight, They have their own issues to work out but ultimately they help each other with the struggles of their past, Sterling helps her become stronger and independent and Paisley helps him get over the horrifying experiences of his youth, I truly fell for this couple and the honest love they felt, A pleasant surprise from an author I haven't heard about yet, I got the book through Netgalley for a review and look forward to her other works, Paisley is running away from an abusive relationship, As she's running she runs into a new, possible love and doesn't trust that things can work out, You'll need to pick it up and read it, There are parts of the story that I want to tell you about but can't without giving the story away, Her Knight in Shining Armour is a short story that starts just as Paisley is putting her desperate escape plan into action.
Her abusive and controlling husband watches her every move so faking her own death seems her only way out, Here enters her white knight, Sterling a psychiatrist with his own problems, His natural ability to read people's actions helps him to assess Paisley

isn't simply out for a casual stroll in the park and his quick thinking helps her out of her escalating predicament of being trapped once again by her husband.
There were a couple of close shave moments which made me hold my breath thinking they might be caught out, Alot of drama crammed into this short read, I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review, She may not need a knight in shining armour to save her, but that doesnt mean shes going to look a gift knight in the visor.

Paisley doesnt need a knight in shining armour to rescue her from her highpowered, abusive exhusband, Shes got it covered on her own: she's changed her name, liquidated her assets, and has a plan to disappear in the Rocky Mountain National Park.


Psychiatrist Sterling James has absolutely no intention of being anyones saviour, The only woman he has any time for is his sister, But circumstances change when Sterling finds Paisley in an unexpected and lifethreatening situation, Brought in to the drama of her escape, Sterling finds himself invested, and he can't move on until he knows Paisley is going to be safe.


It should be a simple enough exercise to get Paisley out of the park and into her new life.
But nothing is ever as simple as it should be, and Sterling soon discovers that even if her exhusband buys the setup, he might not be able to watch Paisley go.
