This book was going good, until I saw it was a Cliff Hanger.
Its my biggest pet peeve, Let the reader know, that to finish one story, the reader needs to buy more books, I never would have started this book if I knew, It totally takes away any and everything from what could have been a good story, Terrible. Poorly written, the lead female is a pushover and the scenes were overtalked and forced, I barely finished this one, and it was short, The blurb for part, did nothing to ameliorate my criticisms, The characters were superficial, the background info provided disjointed, and the writing itself frequently confusing, I found myself rereading passages thinking I had missed something to explain either some dialogue or segue.
Consent was dubious and dealt with poorly, I just didn't get it, This was a quick hot read about Emily who works hard and gets caught on camera blowing a coworker.
This leads to her manager black mailing her into servicing him,
I enjoyed this quick read but felt like it was rushed a bit and not quite enough detail.
It does have potential and I will read more from Green, I wish I could give thisstars, The book was free and I paid too much for it I paid in time spent reading it, and that's a half hour I can't get a refund on.
Characters were dry and lifeless, The whole thing seemed just, . . demeaning. And I don't have a problem with erotica or adult reads, but I do expect them to have an

iota of class.
The second portion seemed to be an outlet for the author to complain about the NSA and how they screw over Americans and take away their privacy.
It was out of place and actually disgusted me more than the erotica, simply because I got the impression that the author used it as a sounding board to vent her opinion.
If you're going to write an erotica, write an erotica not an essay on the morality or lack thereof of the US Homeland Security policies.
Good short story
good read but it could have been a lot longer.
I wish there was more,
I will definitely read her next book, Stilted dialogue, riddled with spelling errors, The sex is pretty hot, but also kind of cheesy, This is labeled as EROTICA, please do not red if you are not comfortable with this type of story.
Emily works hard at the firm, and she does a good job, although sometimes she feels a little over looked.
Adam works across from Emily and although he is a little shy, she thinks he is cute.
One night, Emily and Adam are both in the office late when things occur that lead to a little office romance between the two.
The only problem, the security camera is aimed right at Emily's desk!
The next morning when Emily comes into work she finds and email from one of the firm partners that she dislikes most, Brad.
He has seen the tape and has an offer to keep quiet, Oh heavens.
This is slated to be the first in a continuing series, therefore the higher star rating because it gives it a more true like, or life like story.
As a reviewer, I like the ones that tell a story, not just a single encounter,
The NOOK version of this story is available at barnesandnoble, com for FREE. I loved it
Awesome read, I want to here more of the relationship between the coworkers then anything but the boss is a pain.
If I could give these no or negative I would, The MC was horrible, and I guess that was the point, but she also seemed to have no morals.
At all. I am all for a girl being open with herself and doing the things that make her happy.
But she was really okay with doing all of that at her job Didn't even bat an eye at it No way.
It literally was like reading a porn script, And nobody want's to read a porn script, if I wanted something similar to a porn script I'd just WATCH a porn.
It was short and dirty but the story was not great I'm glad it was free I can't believe how demeaning this book seems.
. . I like a strong female MC but I truly didn't buy into this story, . . it seemed more like blackmail rape with the boss than it was hot, . . I liked Adam but the rest was just not good, . . I read a bunch of free erotica to my coworkers on Friday for laughs Not really my cup of tea.
Thought the premise had promise but it was just not engaging enough to get me on board.
Frankly, I got bored with the characters or never got into them to begin with and just didn't have much interest in the book as a result.

“Hey Emily, when you get a chance could we talk about what happened yesterday somewhere private” Adam's said from her cubicle entrance.
“I just want you to know that I really respect you and I”
Emily cut him off.
“Just don't be weird, okay” Emily said, “Everything is fine and I know you respect me, Just go to work and we'll talk later, ”
“Well, all right,” Adam said as if deep in thought, “As long as you are sure that you know that I really do respect you and don't think you are some kind of slut or anything.
”
“Adam,” Emily's voice was a hiss over her shoulder at him, “Get the fuck out of my cubicle and go to work, We'll talk later, I promise, ”
Emily heard a shuffling noise that trailed steadily to the general vicinity of Adam's desk and couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief.
It was going to be hard enough dealing with Brad, a partner, not to mention smoothing things over with a coworker who was too nice or naïve to know that she had wanted it just as much as he had so there was nothing to talk about.
Emily glanced over her shoulder just to be sure Adam had really left and when she glanced back at her computer, she had another email.
The new email was from Brad again and this had a one word subject heading that said it all.
