really gone to some length in researching this to get the history right, I'm not an expert on the Norman kings but I know a bit about it and B, Redfern appears have to have gotten it correctly, I would recommend this to others, and would totally read future installments about the Angevins, Plantaganets, Tudors etc, The Tudors would be really interesting, . . Haaaaa I read this a while ago and still laugh thinking about it! A unique and highly original look at the historical facts blended with current day social media.
It was a quick easy read, provided some actual facts that I had to go Google, which made me laugh even more at the slight irony of having to Google information texted by Harold and other bumbling Royal historical figures! If you like your history all dry, longwinded and heterogeneous then you are going to hate this book with a passion.
If you want numerous citations, references and revealing insights formulated from the pages of long lost documents, then, please, buy something else,

This is a history book for the party people, those that love a laugh, a drink and a good dose of abusive language in their history books.
Quite simply, this is screwed up history in its purist sense,
