Gather Kissed By A Demon Spy Created By Sharon Kay Expressed As File

a teen, Garnet was kidnapped and made a sex slave to Drant at Stroehm, Now that she has been freed, she goes back to her village where she meets Aden, the local innkeeper that has a secret life.

It was nice to hear Garnets story after she helped Brooke and Kais escape in Bookof the Solsti Prophecy, Wicked Waves.
Kai sent some friends back to free Garnet in Kissed By A Demon Spy, After everything that Garnet went through, she deserves a second chance, She is a wonderful mother to her son, Dash, She is brave and does what she believes is right,

I really liked Aden, He is a spy and top scryer for the Deserati demons, He hires Garnet to work for him at the inn as a cook, The two develop an attraction to one another, Garnet is embarrassed of her past, and Aden is sensitive and able to get her past that, Aden is a great role model and father figure for Dash, He is a caring individual who complements Garnet, I was happy that as, Garnet and Adens relationship grew, they learn to trust one another,

Kissed By A Demon Spy has a wonderful plot with a lot of excitement, Nothing is easy and a lot is worth fighting for,

Sharon Kay wrote a remarkable story with a sensitive subject matter, No one should have to be subjected into being a sex slave, In Garnets case, she had a warranted happy ending, Kissed By A Demon Spy in a heartwarming story that can be read as a standalone but is a perfect
Gather Kissed By A Demon Spy Created By Sharon Kay Expressed As File
companion piece to Wicked Waves.

A solidstars!
I loved this story, The author created an amazing world,
I absolutely need to read the other books in this series,

I received a free copy of this book through the PaC Romance group it in no way affected my review.
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a review,

This review may contain spoilers,

Having read two of the previous novels set in this world, I did jump at the chance to read a novella that was also set in the world created by this author.

I did remember Garnet from her previous appearance and it was really nice to see the promise that was made to her kept.
It was interesting that this book was different to the previous ones, being set more in the world of the fantasy creatures and demons, rather than in the modern world.

I have to say, it was nice to see Bianca and Hunter again, even if they only appeared for a short time.
But it was good to meet Aden and others of his kind, I would have liked to see a bit more of some of the other beings, but the main focus of the book was the romance and I found that honestly sweet and believable.

I was a bit confused by the fact that only one of the pixies recognised Garnet, Apart from a brief comment about her parents, there didnt seem to be any effort on her part to see if her family was still alive or not.
I would have liked to see a bit more about that,

It was interesting to see both Dash and Garnet settling into their lives in the village, I really liked Dashs relationship with his mother and it was really good to see the author didnt shy away from having them both still affected by what had happened to them and the effects it still had, even after theyd been freed and could live their own lives.

I really liked Garnets relationship with Aden and I felt it was really quite emotional when she opened up about her past to him particularly with the strong sense that she was blaming herself, even though she was a victim.
Thats a realistic reaction and I was glad that the author acknowledged those effects at the end of the book,

This remains one of my favourite worlds to visit and I would really like to read more about the characters, as well as see more of the different species and races there are.
I definitely intend to read the first book in the series at some point in the future and I also want to read the fourth book when it comes out.
This novella was a great way to give me a pick up from missing the Solsti Prophecy series, I adore each one of those books so getting a little taste of a character from the second book was fabulous, I will include links for my reviews from the first three books, I will also include the purchase links,
This book comes from the character that helped Brooke and Kai from what could have been disaster, Garnet is a woman who has endured sex slavery along with giving birth to a son, She is strong but week, I feel so bad for her, She is full of shame and hurt, She finally gets away from the horrible place she was made to live at since her teenage years, That is when she meets Aden,
Aden could make any girl feel giddy and week in the knees, He is a strong loving guy, He also is very protective, He is very patient with Garnet and you could feel his need but also feel how he knew not to push, He has his secrets though, By the way him with Dash, Garnets son, is too sexy,
I urge you to read to the note that Sharon Kay left at the end, She has some great information of sex trafficking and how it could be happening in your own backyard, Its real people and very saddening,
I am giving this book,hearts.
Step aside Lash demons, theres another protector in town, and us Watcher Wenches have taken notice, Thats right. Good guy demons. Not only are the Deserati demon protectors, they're hot! KBDS takes place after book two in the Solsti series, but it does well as a standalone.
Sharon Kay has taken her marvelous storytelling ability and condensed it into a fully packed novella,

Afteryears of slavery, Garnet is finally free, due in part to her generous nature, Earlier she had helped free a lash demon and his Solsti mate, When she needed it most, they returned the favor and sent help to not only free her and her young son Dash, but to take them to safety.
When given a choice, Garnet chooses to return home to village of her youth,

Aden, a Deserati demon is running the village inn as a front to for his spying activities, Front or not, he needs a cook, and Garnet needs a job, Thankfully she is a wonderful cook, giving the two a chance to get to know each other, Both have their secrets, can they get past them Will Adens activities put Garnet and young Dash in danger, Is it fair for him to endanger them Does he have a choice Garnet has her own set of doubts and worries.

Sharon Kay has once again woven a mystical story full of wonderfully unique characters, She draws you into the story from the very first sentence until the last, Her world building is well thought out and planned, She makes you feel as though you could walk into her world as easily as you turn a page, I absolutely loved this story, I have read the first two in the Solsti series, but I could just as easily have read this one first, I highly recommend this book and the rest of the series, Way to go, Miss Kay you've done it again,

I was given an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review,
